18: Confession time?

"Is she alright..?" You hear some shuffling from the person who spoke.

"Her fever is down but has she been taking her medication regularly? It doesn't seem like she's getting better. Her condition isn't improving and i'm afraid her body couldn't withstand it anymore," Says another. "There may be a chance she might fall into another coma if this continues..."

The words were heard vaguely before the door slammed with a bang and the room was silent again.

"Y/N...." You hear that voice speaking again, it sounded familiar. ....Youngjae?

You feel him hold your hand, interlocking them before continuing, his husky and cracked voice, he had been crying.

"Wake up... I'm not angry... I'm worrried, worried that you'll be snatched away from Yugyeom, and be away from me again..."

Again? You thought to yourself, he couldn't have meant the accident. He should have referred to another. But what?

You were tempted to open your eyes, and question him, but you can't seem to.

"I'm afraid you'll slip away from me... Please don't go away, I love you" He's words warmed your heart and you couldn't help but fall back asleep.

Youngjae glanced at you, his eyes sparkling under the starry night sky. "Y/N..." He spoke, his alluring voice has always been an effect to you. "Hmm?" You mumble, your breathing hitches and you felt breathless at his presence.

"I really wanted to tell you this for a very long time..." He gazed deeply at you, you could feel your heart thumping rapidly and your cheeks flushing red.

You were standing beside your long-time crush, for lord's sake!! Who wouldn't get so nervous?!

"W-What?" You stutter, you couldn't help but feel a tinge of sparks when his hands grasp yours, forming an interlock.

"I-" He spoke softly, his eyes fixed on yours, looking nervous.

"I always liked you..."

You could feel the wave of anxiety that showed in his eyes, followed by sincerity.

Taking a deep breath, you tried to calm your own rapid breathing as if the oxygen around you was not enough. Your closed eyes snapped open, looking deeply into his eyes that you adore. "Well, I also like you too-"

That was what and all that needed for Youngjae as he pulled you into an embrace and smashed his lips onto yours.

"Youngjae!!" You gasped, surprised, as his action startled you. But it's not like it's your first kiss anyway so

Wait, my first kiss? No that's impossible ugh...

He didn't stop, his mouth exploring yours. "I-" You wanted to speak as you pull away from him, however, he puts a finger on your lips, signalling you to stop.

He placed his forehead against yours as both of your breathing calms down. "I never want to lose you..." he says.
