3 Weeks Later
"Maddie!" I heard Lin yell.
Lin walked into my room jumping onto my bed. I swear, he is a little kid.
"The cast wants to know if we can come see you do your thing at a gymnastics practice today." He said
"Sure!" I responded. Lin ran out of my room, probably to tell the rest of the cast.I've been living here for 3 weeks so far. During those 3 weeks, Lin got me an iPhone so I can stay in contact with the cast. I decorated my room completely, and introduced Lin to my coach. I haven't heard from anyone from the foster home since, which was a blessing.
All of a sudden, I received many text from the group chat that we have with the cast.
Daveed Diggs : I can finally see the little one do her flipping!
Anthony : If you can do a backflip, I will be jealous.
Leslie : Idiot. She has 80 medals. She can probably do more than a backflip.
Me : Oh. My. Lord.
"Dad" : No fighting please.
Pippa : Wait! We can see the child preform?
"Dad" : Yes. She has practice today at 5:00.
Jasmine : Are we all going?
"Dad" : Of course! Be ready at 4:45 please. She can't be late.
Me : I actually can be. Lin won't let me.
Oak : Y'all.
Me : Yes Oak?
Oak : Stop blowing my phone up.
Daveed Diggs : Deal with it.
I laughed locking my phone. I looked at the time. 4:15. We began to have practices later in the day since I wasn't in the horrible home anymore.
I began to get ready. I put my hair in a bun and grabbed my favorite leotard. I packed my bag with all my belongings. I grabbed my bag and walked out to the stage where everyone was. We walked outside and jumped into the car. I can't walk on the street anymore. Lin believes that its too dangerous.
We arrived to the gym. I ran in while everyone ran upstairs to the loft we have. I grabbed my grips and water and walked into the gym to warm up.
