Maddies POV
I looked around the gymnastics gym, seeing my coach standing at the bars. I slowly took a step forward, noticing my grips were on my hands once again.
"Come with me." My coach said.
"I need to learn this new skill though." I told them, grabbing the bars pulling myself up.
"Your lose." My coach vanished away. I backed away from the bars, turning around to walk away.Once I turned around, I could see an audience full of people. I looked around, noticing the whole cast staring at me.
"What?" I asked them. Anthony walked up to me.
"Come with me." I went to take a step forward but was distracted by another voice, my biological parents.
"Maddie, come with us." I started walking forward to my parents.
"Don't go." I heard Anthony say. I walked back to Anthony, grabbing his hands walking with him, ignoring the yells of my parents.THIRD PERSON POV
The nurse walked into the room taking her daily notes. It has been almost a month since Maddie was put into a coma.
The nurse eyebrows raised as she walked quickly out of the room getting the doctor immediately. Lin and Anthony both sat up trying not to wake up Jasmine. Lin has been hearing everyday since she was taken into the hospital, only going back to the theater for showers. Anthony and Jasmine usually go back to their apartment to sleep, but come back early in the morning to keep Lin company.
The doctor walked back in the room doing the normal check up that he does, but this time. He began to remove the wires from her.
"W-what is going on?" Lin choked out, afraid that this might be it.
"She should be waking up any minute." The doctor told us, smiling. Lin bolted out of his seat right to Maddie side.
"Mr.Miranda, May I speak with you?" Lin looked up walking out of the room to him.
"I hope you know that because Maddie experienced this, she may never walk again." Lin nodded, understanding that they may happen to her. He walked back into the room going to Maddies side.Quietness filled the room as everyone looked at Maddie, waiting for her to patiently wake up.
Maddies POV
I walked towards Anthony grabbing his head as he took me somewhere else.
"You ready?" He asked.
I laughed, "For what?"
"You're lucky you didn't go with them." Anthony said, as a bright light took over me.My eyes opened as I seen Lin, Anthony, Jasmine standing over me. I adjusted my vision, taking a deep breath looking at them.
"Maddie." Lin whispered. I sat up slowly hugging him tightly.
"I will go get the doctor." Anthony said with Jasmine walking behind him.
"How long have I been out?" Lin asked
"A month." Lin said. My eyes widen. How? All I remember was passing out the day that I landed on my head and smashed into the glass wall.
"Have you been doing shows?" I asked, hoping he would say yes.
"No. Javier has been getting more time being Hamilton." I sighed, knowing that he couldn't pursue his career because of me.The doctor walked in smiling at me. "Maddie! You're awake! I just have to check a few things, run some test, and you should be able to go home soon." I smiled at him.
"Can you feel this?" The doctor asked. I looked over at him seeing him touching my leg.
"No?" I started panicking noticing that I couldn't feel his touch.
"Okay.." He wrote something down. I tried moving my legs again, but couldn't feel anything from waist down.
"Maddie. It's okay." Lin told me.
"Basically.." The doctor began to explain what happened, and what I was gonna be experiencing in the future. I was shocked by the news, but understood everything.
"You also might not walk again." I stopped breathing once I heard this. I couldn't dance anymore. How?I just wanted to be alone. I wanted to go back to sleep. The doctor walked out of the room leaving Lin and I.
"Are you okay?" Lin asked.
"Shocked." I replied
"Just go to sleep." Lin told me, pulling the covers over me as I went back to sleep.
