Once I woke up, I checked the time seeing that I slept for 4 hours. I looked over at the chair noticing Lin messing around on his computer.
Clearing my throat to get his attention, Lin pushed his computer off of his lap standing up walking over to me.
"How you feeling?" He said, while putting his hand on my forehead.
"Better." I said, "When do I get out of here?"
"Soon." Lin said smiling. I sighed grabbing my phone checking social media since I haven't been on in a month.
After 45 minutes of endless scrolling, the doctor walked in with a huge smile on his face.
"Hello Maddie. How are you feeling?"
"Better." The doctor began writing things on his board, "Okay! You're free to go!" Lin stood up grabbing my clothes. I struggled putting them on since Im paralyzed with waist down, but I finally succeeded. A nurse brought in a wheelchair, looks like this is where I will be for a long time.
I finally sat down as Lin pushed me out of the hospital. Before I left, the nurse put on a medical bracelet so people would know that I had seizures.
Once we entered the outside, I was shocked by how much I miss New York City. Smiling, I got extremely excited to just be back home. We got into the car heading back the the theatre.
