"Maddie. Maddie. Maddie. Maddie!" I could feel someone jumping on my bed. When I opened my eyes, I saw Lin looking at me extremely excited. I swear, he is a 5 year old in a 37 year old body.
I pushed him off of the bed covering myself with my blanket again trying to fall back asleep.
"Maddie! Today is your first performance with the cast!" Lin yelled happily. I looked at him slowly sitting up. I rubbed my eyes and pulled my hair up into a bun. I slowly removing the blanket from my skin, but immediately pulling it back on because I was extremely cold.
I ran to the bathroom turning on the shower waiting patiently for it to warm up. Lin finally walked out of my room and went to go do a live stream. I don't talk into the morning until I am up for at least an hour.
I finished my shower and got back into comfortable clothes. I wanted today to be a relax day since I will be stressed tonight. I got back into bed going on my phone. I checked all of my social medias that Lin forced me to get.
I was checking some mentions on my twitter, seeing more than I saw yesterday.
"Why is Maddie adopted by Lin? She's worthless."
"She's only dancing in the show because of Lin."
"My lord! Why didn't I get adopted? I'm actually pretty."
I read most of the hate comments, and I didn't focus on the positive comments, which is completely wrong to do.
I locked my phone slamming it on my bed. Lin walked in looking at me concerned.
"You okay?" Lin asked sounding concern.
"Of course! Why do you ask?"
"Why do you always lie? You suck at telling lies to me. Hand it over." He said stretching his hand waiting for my phone. I slowly gave it to him. He unlocked it looking at all my mentions.
"You can't listen to them! They aren't worth listening to." Lin said while pulling me into a hug. I just nodded my head pushing him away. The look of hurt washed over his face quickly. I laid back down holding my phone. I felt the extra weight on my bed leaving, indicating that Lin left my room.
I pulled the covers over my head, falling back asleep. Before I fell asleep, I could feel tears forming in my eyes.
