I woke up by the wonderful ringing of my phone, without looking at it i quickly reach for it then answer.
"Baby. Where are you?" I glanced at my phone and see that it's Jason. Gosh!
"Huh? Why are you calling me?" I snapped. I checked my watch, it's now one in the afternoon. Time to go home.
"Steph. Please. It's not what you think." He begged. I can hear Alistaire was laughing at something, if i'm not mistaken she's watching cartoon.
"Is Alistaire there? I want to talk to her." I said ignoring what he said. I climbed out of the bed then fix my hair.
"Alistaire. Mommy's on the phone." Jason said. I heard her squealed happily.
"Mommy are you going home now?" Alistaire asked. I grabbed my bag and stepped out of the suite.
"Yes. Where are you? Are you on my room honey?" I asked as i ride on the elevator.
"Yes. We sleep here last night. Mommy, Daddy didn't go to school. You know why?" She asked as if Jason was not beside her. I saw Manager Strands on the lobby as i mouthed to her that i'm leaving already.
"I don't know. Maybe his busy with her new girlfriend, that's why he don't like to go to school." I quickly jumped in my car then pulled out from the space.
"Daddy has a new girlfriend? That's why you're crying last night Mommy?" She talked like an adult. I heard Jason murmuring something, but i ignored him. I tucked the headset on my ear as i continue to drive while talking to Alistaire.
"Yes. He doesn't love me anymore. Anyway honey, what do you want? Ice cream?" I asked. Good thing that only a little traffic was on the main road now.
"No. Just be home Mommy that will be enough." She said. I smiled on what she said.
"You are so sweet. Love you honey." I smiled. She brighten my day. She really gives me happiness.
"Love you too. Mommy, here's Daddy." She giggly said. I heard her passed the phone to Jason. Last four hours drive i told to myself.
"Baby. Where are you now?" Jason quickly asked me.
"Dress Alistaire. We're going somewhere. Did you remove your things on my room now?" I asked. I was still focused on the road. I can't wait to see Alistaire.
"No. I'll explain to you later. I already told everything to Mom and your Mom. They knew the truth." He said. What's the truth? Oh come on! I wish i was near at our house now.
"Need to go now. I don't want to see your face when i get home." I teased then hung up. Well, i miss him. His been acting so weird that's why it came out to my mind that his cheating. But i really don't know the real reason. I focused on the road and continue this driving journey of mine.
After four long hours, gosh i finally reach our house. I jumped out of my car then stepped inside our house.
"Stephanie!" Mom squealed. She hugged me so tight as if she didn't see me for ten years. I saw Lucy approaching us. She's also here. She quickly stole me from my mom then hugged me tight.
"I'm so worried about you Stephanie." She whispered as she hugged me. I released myself from the hug then smiled at them.
"I'm okay. See." I smiled at them.
"Freshen up honey. We'll eat dinner after that." My mom said. I nodded then made my way to my room. Before i enter, i place my ears on the door and try to listen if what are they doing. I heard Alistaire was laughing and Jason was telling her some jokes. I enter my room then they both look shocked as they saw me.
"Mommy!!" She run towards me and i bend to get her.
"Hi honey." I whispered to her. Jason was just looking at us still sitting on my bed.
"Mommy. Did you eat already?" She asked as she pulled me on my couch. She touched my tummy then kissed my cheeks.
"No. I didn't eat since yesterday. Is that all your gifts?" I point at the floor, all her gifts was scattered there. Almost seventy gifts are here.
"Yes Mommy. Let's open it." She pulled me on the floor but i shook my head. Jason remained staring at us.
"Mommy will just shower. After dinner, we'll open that." She nodded. She hugged me so tight for a matter of seconds then released me soon. I can feel that Jason was looking towards us, but i just ignore him.
I get up from the couch and rushed towards my bathroom. I showered for twenty minutes. I put my robe around my body then stepped out of my bathroom.
"Honey. Come here. I'll show you something." I call Alistaire as she was sitting above my bed beside Jason. She run towards me and hold my hands. We stepped inside my wardrobe.
"Here's my gift for you." I handed her a big pink paper bag.
"Thanks Mommy." She kissed me on my lips.
"You are always welcome. Now, go back there. Mommy will just get dress." She nodded then stepped out of my wardrobe. I heard her shouting that she already got the best gift. My gosh she's such a cutie.
I quickly put on my black tight shorts then my white sleeveless. I did all my rituals and put my body stuffs to mine. Gosh! It feels so good that i freshened up already.
"Come on now. Let's eat dinner." I carry her in my arms and stepped out of my room. I quickly made our way to the dining room, where other's are eating. I sat between Mom and Alistaire. I don't want to sit beside Jason. I really don't like. I saw him approaching the dining but i still ignored him.
"Stephanie. Are you going to school tomorrow?" Mom breaks the silence
"Yes. I just have two classes for tomorrow." I said. I fixed Alistaire's plate, of course all of her food was scattered everywhere.
"Good. We'll be having a Lunch thing tomorrow. All of us." Mom smiled. She's really pushing it, so that i can talk to Jason.
"I can't Mom. I have to deal with some things tomorrow. You can bring Alistaire if you want." I lied. I really don't have things to deal tomorrow. I just want to be alone. They all looked at me. I can feel Jason was really looking at me.
"Where are you going?" Lucy asked
"Meeting some friends." I lied again. They just nodded and continue eating.
"Are you done now?" I whispered to Alistaire. She nodded. I wasn't in the mood to eat. Somehow, i really lost my appetite. I get up from the stool then carry Alistaire.
"Night Mom.." I kissed my mom then Lucy. Alistaire did the same. I stepped out of the dining with Alistaire in my arms and made our way to my room. I put her in the shower then put on her sleepwears. I placed her in the middle of the bed, so if ever Jason will sleep here, i can't be beside him.
"Can you wait until tomorrow to open your gifts?" I asked Alistaire as i put her under her comforter.
"I want it now Mommy but you look tired. So it's okay, if it's tomorrow." She smiled. I hope she was like others, who can understand me easily.
"Thank you princess. Let's sleep now. Mommy has school tomorrow." I simply said.
"Mommy aren't we going to wait for Daddy?" She lifts her head and looked towards the door. I really don't want to wait for him but i need to because of this little girl.
"Okay. We'll wait for him." I said. I sat on the bed and play with her, on her Ipad. She's better than me in this game. The door opened, Alistaire quickly stand and looked towards the door if it's her Daddy.
"Daddy. We wait for you. We can sleep now." She jumped out of the bed and pulled Jason from the door towards the bed.
"I'm not going to sleep here tonight. Your Mommy is already here." He smiled at Alistaire. Looking at him, he looked stress.
"Mommy.. Please. I want Daddy here. Please." She begged. She pulled me for a hug and pinch my nose.
"You can sleep here. You have your things at my wardrobe, right?" I said without looking at him and stayed on Alistaire's hug. His things are still at my wardrobe i saw it as i dress a while ago.
"It's okay.. Alistaire, i'll be back tomorrow. Daddy told you that if your a good girl.." Jason smiled at her. She jumps towards Jason and whispered something on his ears. And they appear to each others hand. I stayed playing Alistaire's Ipad. I want to sleep next to him, i told to myself. But i know he cheated on me, so i'm angry on him. Did he really cheat on me?
"But Daddy. You sleep here. I don't like to see Mommy cry." She cupped Jason's cheeks then hugged him.
"What if i don't like to sleep here, what will you do?" Jason tickles her tummy. I was just looking at Alistaire, but once in a while i caught Jason looking at me.
"I'll tell to Mommy your secret." She laughed. They have a secret? Maybe a not so important thing.
"Tell her." He smiled. Gosh. I love how he smile.
"Mommy, Daddy has.." He covered Alistaire mouth as she keeps on talking under his hand.
"You win little girl. Get Daddy's bag it's in the front door." Alistaire nodded and quickly made her way to the door.
"I can't open it Mommy." She said as she attempts to open the door. I get up from the bed and open the door for her. I saw his bag and beside that was a bouquet. I just ignore it. Alistaire get his bag and the bouquet of white roses. I closed the door and laid back on the bed again.
"Honey, if your not going to sleep. Mommy will sleep now. Okay?" I kissed her forehead. She looked at me as if i ruined her night.
"Mommy. Please don't sleep. Please." I shook my head and touch her face.
"Goodnight okay? Mommy will just sleep here beside you. I'm not going anywhere." She shook her head and started to sob
"Alistaire. I have things to do tomorrow. Do you want me to get mad at you again?" I said. She sobbed and rubbed her eyes.
"Goodnight honey. You sleep when your sleepy." I closed my eyes, but Alistaire started to cry. I want to ignore it but i really can't. I just really don't like to see him that's why i'm acting that i'm sleepy.
"Alright. I'm not going to sleep. Stop crying now." She wiped her tears and hugged me.
"Can you give Mommy a kiss?" She nodded then kissed me on my lips. I really love Alistaire. I caught Jason looking at me from the other side of the bed, but i still ignore him.
"Mommy. You didn't kiss Daddy since you've been home." She giggly said. I looked at her and she's pointing to Jason.
"Ohh. It's not right honey. We ended up things between us. We're not together now." I smiled. Jason looked at me, a liitle confused. I don't know what's the real score between us? If he doesn't cheat on me, he will do some actions so i can forgive him, or he can explain. But none, so i think we are not together now, i think i need to give him back the engagement ring.
"Why?" Alistaire started to cry again. She really understands me. I hugged her then rubbed her back.
"Don't cry honey. Maybe, he doesn't love me anymore or he loves that new girl." I sighed. Maybe he has found a new virgin one? That he can get the virginity again then leave it soon after having sex?
"Steph. Don't say that to her." Jason shouted.
"What? I'm just telling her the truth." I snapped. I tuck Alistaire under the covers then i laid beside her. Jason was murmuring something under his breath.
"Don't cry princess. Mommy will not go to school tomorrow, we can go to park or anywhere you want." I whispered to her. She continue to cry and i started to cry too. I'm so emotional this past few days.
"See, Mommy's crying now. If you don't stop i wont too." I hugged her as we laid on the bed. Jason sat on the edge of the bed then looked at us.
"Mommy. Daddy loves you. Believe me. Don't leave him." Alistaire said between her tears. How poor my baby is. She can understand all the things that's why she cried easily.
"Stop crying Alistaire. Stop it please." I said ignoring what she said. Jason move on where we are then get Alistaire from lying.
"Stop crying now. Shh. Stop it." He said to Alistaire. He move more and sat on the space beside me. Alistaire was on his arms as she was still crying.
"You.. stop crying also." He put a finger on my chin then peck a kiss on my lips. I looked at him with an annoyed look.
"Alistaire. You want milk?" Jason asked her as she was still sobbing.
"Mommy.. Mommy.." She whined. I get up from my lying position then looked at her.
"What do you want honey?" I kneel and attempts to carry her. Jason grabbed my body and hugged me tight. He kissed the top of my head and kissed Alistaire's forehead.
"Stop crying girls. Okay? Alistaire.. You sleep now. And you Missy, we will talk." He peck a kiss on my lips. He put Alistaire on the bed and put the bottle on her mouth. Alistaire was trying to open her eyes, but later on drifts to her sleep too. Jason locked the door of my room then pulled me up going to the couch. He sat beside me while i stay stiff.
"Baby. If you're thinking that i cheated on you, well that's wrong. After that night, that we had sex, i told to myself that i need to call for a wedding planner. That's where i spent my monday and tuesday after school." He sighed.
"I want to surprise you. Because i know you'll be mad if i tell you that i'm planning with our wedding already. I'm just getting ready. Cause i know, they might be a little something at your tummy soon." He smiled.
"Second, the one that you saw on the coffee shop, that's Anne, the one that will be handling my surprise for you. She's an event planner, actually her master piece was for anniversary surprises. We are on our first monthsary on the sixteenth baby, on saturday. I want that to be the most special one, because i know a lot happened in just one month." He simply said. I thought he cheated on me? My gosh. I don't know how to face him. I ruined everything.
"I'm sorry." I said as my sight glued on the carpet floor
"I know i act strange. But you know, plans and surprises." He smiled. I was carried away, i thought he cheated.
"So stop saying that i cheated on you. I will never ever do that." He seriously said. He holds my hand then tuck the loose hair in my ear from my face.
"I'm sorry if i acted strange. I'm sorry." He cupped my cheeks then wiped away those tears that was now falling from my eyes. He grabbed my body carefully then put me on his lap. He tuck his face on my shoulder and wrapped his arm on my waist.
"I will never do that to you. Stop saying to Alistaire that i don't love you. Okay?" I nodded and wiped my tears with the back of my hand.
"Are you going to school tomorrow?" I just shrugged. I'm not in the mood for school. I just want to be with Alistaire and him.
"I let your Mom know that you're not feeling well. Wash your face. I'm just going to tell her." He carry me towards the bed as he stepped out of my room.
I'm such an idiot. I ruined everything because of being so selfish. I really don't know how to face him. I was being so emotional in a wrong way. Things went wrong because of me.
"Baby. Are you done?" He knocked on the bathroom door. I wiped my wet face on the big towel and quickly stepped out.
I saw him lying on the bed and he already move Alistaire on her place. I climbed in my bed and lay beside him.
"You feeling well?" He asked. He touched my forehead then wrapped me around him.
"My head ached a little." I said. I lean on his chest as i started to make circles on it. He placed his finger on my chin and pulled up my head.
"Don't leave us again okay?" He whispered. I nodded and looked at him.
"We'll leave tomorrow. Can you pack your things when you wake up tomorrow?" He said to me.
"Where are we going?" I asked a little confused as i lift my head to meet his eyes.
"Do i really need to tell you baby? I already told you everything about my surprises for you. For now. Just leave it to me." He grinned. His right, he spilled everything on me. I already know all of his surprises.
"Sorry baby." I peck a kiss on his lips. I hugged him as i let myself smell the familiar scent that was coming from him and make it a reason to let me drop to my sleeping moments.
