"I think it's better if the tables will be arrange from the parking lot up to the fences here at the garden." I said. We are now talking to the party planner for Alistaire's third birthday. Can you imagine, she's just turning three on wednesday? She talked straight, no rattle on her words. She can understand easily and she acts like she's five.
"It's up to you Mam. But the stage will be set up near the pool." The planner said. We only have five days before the party.
"It's okay. Make sure that everything will be under the theme." I said. I was checking the layouts that she presented to me, from the parking to the garden, the tables will be place. Tables will be deep blue color as the chairs will be assorted pastel colors. The stage will be in the little mermaid theme, nothing else. Everything will look like it's under the sea. Give aways will be a bag filled with candies, chocolates then toys. Foods for kids will be pizzas, white and red sauce pasta, chicken fillet, fries, hamburgers then smoothies and ice cream. It will be a buffet style. For the adults, more on heavy meals. Fried rice, roasted chicken, fish fillet, sautèd vegetables and barbecues. We all decided for this kind of foods.
"Baby. The cake what will it be?" Jason asked beside me. His checking the layouts too, if everything is okay. Of course the decision about everything here will be based on him.
"I want the four layered cake. The deep blue color. Is it okay?" I smiled. The cake will be four layers, deep blue color studs with coral reefs designs and of course Ariel on the top.
"Yea. That's good. So?" He looked at me and i shrugged. I sipped on my frappe as i look over our pool. We are sitting here at the garden's cottage, while others went to mall. Mom and Lucy set up everything. They bring Alistaire with them so that we can talk to the planner about the party. Gosh! You know the feeling? I'm pressured.
"So.. Miss Lim, is it okay now?" The planner asked as she was collecting the paper that was gathered on the table.
"Baby?" I looked at Jason.
"Well everything was good upon checking. It's a deal." Jason said. He offered his hand to the planner as they shook each others hand.
"Thank you Mister Red.. Miss Lim.." The Planner said.
"Just charge everything under my account." Jason said as he was handing his calling card to her, so they can contact him.
"Make sure everything will be alright. Just call us if something's up." I smiled at the planner. I checked my phone, it's already four in the afternoon, and still Mom was not here. I'm missing Alistaire now.
"Yes Mam. I'm going now. Thanks again Miss Lim.. Mister Red." She shook hands with us and our maid guide her to the front door.
"Jason, tomorrow Alistaire's dresses will be delivered." I said. I was checking my schedule for the rest of the week in my Ipad. Last photo shoot on Monday, meeting on student council on tuesday and Alistaire's birthday on wednesday.
"Hmm. You check if everything's good baby." He said. He wrapped his arms around my tiny waist.
"Yea. I hope everything went well." I lean on his shoulder.
"Steph.. Can i have you tomorrow?" Jason asked as he drape his arms on my shoulder.
"Huhh? Why? I'm with you tomorrow. Remember you're still here until tomorrow?" I said a little confused. Alistaire and Jason will stay here until tomorrow, because on monday we have school, so Lucy will take care of Alistaire for the rest of the school days.
"No. I mean.. Date. Let's date. Just you and me." He said. I lift my head and looked at him.
"Ohhh. Look at my fiancè.." I touch his face and rub my nose to him.
"I let Mom watch out for Alistaire tomorrow because It's Lea's rest day tomorrow. Don't worry. Okay?" I smiled. He looked at me then smile.
"I just want to spend a day with you. We've been so busy with Alistaire." He touch my face softly as if i'm a glass that was going to break if you touch hard.
"Yea. Sorry baby. Promise, tomorrow it will be a day with you." I peck a kiss on his lips then hugged him. I heard a car engine from outside, oh maybe they are here.
"I can't wait for that. I love you baby." He whispered. He fits my hands on his. I glanced at him and i saw him smiling and looking at the ring on my finger.
"I love you more. You're so sweet. Don't change okay?" I cupped his face with my other hand as we stayed sitting.
"Mommy!! Daddy!!" I heard Alistaire's little voice. I stand up from the stool and pulled Jason's hand. I face the door and saw my little princess running towards the garden.
"How's my princess?" Jason bends and carry Alistaire on his arms. She kissed Jason then hugged him. She touch my face then kiss me for a matter of seconds.
"Mama Sarah bought me this." She waved her right arm and i saw a beautiful gold bracelet.
"Wow. That's nice." I said. Lea was behind Alistaire, holding Alistaire's bag. I saw Mom and Lucy now approaching us.
"Hey sweetie." Mom kissed me then Lucy followed.
"So, how was everything?" Lucy asked as she kissed Jason.
"We will show you the layout later. Everything is settled now." Jason smiled.
"Evelyn, put everything in my room." Mom shouted as she saw Evelyn at the door.
"Let's go inside. We bought you snacks." Mom said. We all walked towards the living room and make ourselves comfortable. I heard my phone ring, so i quickly get it.
"Hello?" Looking the screen it's Laureen.
"Good Afternoon Mam Steph. I would like to ask if you already received the gown?" Laureen said
"Ohh. Not yet. Laureen kindly confirm it to them. I'm not around tomorrow." I said. Alistaire was busy talking to Jason beside me.
"Alright Mam. I'll ask them if they can send it today." She said.
"Right. Thanks Laureen. Bye." I said. Jason kissed me on my forehead then hugged me. Sweet actions that i will never get tired.
Mom and Lucy was busy talking to each other, about the pageant that they will be the judge and all the fashion stuffs that's happening on the road.
"Mam Steph, there's a letter for you." Evelyn handed me a White envelope; a wedding invitation, if i'm not mistaken. The envelope was address to me and it's from Katie; Jason's ex girlfriend.
"Baby, it's Katie's invitation." I said and handed it to Jason.
"See, she sends it to us." He said. Mom and Lucy just looked at us.
"Who's Katie?" Lucy asked. She doesn't know who Katie is? Didn't she met her because it's her son's ex?
"His ex girlfriend. Mom, you don't know her?" I laughed. Jason was still reading the invitation, upon glancing at the invitation, it will be held on November 29 at Sydney Australia.
"You are the first girlfriend of him that i've ever met. Even that Georgia, i don't know them." She laughed. Jason once told me that Lucy, don't like other girls to be his girlfriend. She always believe that i'll be his son's girlfriend.
"My gosh baby. Why didn't you introduce them to your mom?" I hit his chest and he just laughed. He kissed my forehead then rest his arms on my shoulders.
"Since then, Mom don't want any other girl besides you. If you want to know the things she did and say to me, you better be ready and have some snacks beside you." He laughed. All of us laughed along, but my busy daughter continue to play her Ipad.
"Shut up son! Because they just want your money! And they don't love you." She teased. Well i'm not after for his money, 'cause i have my own and if they will ask me if i love him, my gosh. I love him like nothing else can't describe.
"See. That's what i'm talking about." He laughed. Mom was just laughing at them.
"Well, if i let you go with them, you wont meet that lady beside you. Do you want your ex girlfriend huh?" Lucy laughed. I grab Alistaire and put her in my lap.
"Of course not. You did it well Mom. Thanks to you i got Stephanie." He smiled and kissed the top of my head.
"See? If your mom and i didn't do all of this. You are still tied to those people." Mom smiled. Well, that's true. I've known Jason since grade school and nothing else. We're just friends before but that's all.
"Yea. Thanks to both of you that i'll be marrying the best woman in the world." Jason said. He sounded like he won a billion dollar on a lottery. Mom continue to teased Jason about her ex-girlfriends and Lucy did well in presenting me as the best in law in the world.
"Mom, before i forgot can you take care of Alistaire tomorrow?" I asked. We are now eating our dinner at the dining.
"Why?" Mom asked as she looked at me.
"Well. We're just going somewhere." I smiled then put my arms on Jason's shoulder. I heard Lucy giggled and my Mom smiled at me.
"Alright. Just leave her things completely." I nodded.
"Where are you going? Don't tell me.. Oh my gosh! You're pregnant Steph? And you're going to the hospital?" Lucy laughed. They are so crazy!
"No! Mom! We're going on a date." Jason smirked. I'm done eating so i stand up from the stool then carry Alistaire on my arms, cause she's already done too.
"You know that Mommy loves you?" I whispered on her ears and that made her giggle.
"No.." She giggled. Lucy and Jason continue teasing each other, well it's such a great day for us.
"Why no?" I make a sad face as she brush the hair strands on my face.
"Mama Sarah.. Mama Lucy.. Mommy's pregnant.." Alistaire giggled. She ignores me being in a sad face. I saw both of them with wide eyes and shock faces. A moment that i really need a camera.
"Stephanie! Is that true?" Mom smiled.
"Mom.. Of course not. We still not do it. Swear." I said. Alistaire giggled then kissed my cheek.
"Alistaire.. Why did you say that your Mommy's pregnant?" Lucy fakely glared.
"I saw Daddy kissing Mommy. They kiss.. Hmmm.. Two times Mama." Everything that Alistaire said she do it with a hand gesture, such a cutie. Mom and Lucy laughed on what they were hearing.
"Even in front of your daughter? Guys. Take it slowly." Mom teased. My gosh! Alistaire always told this things whenever she was talking to someone. Instead of answering my mom, I hugged Alistaire then planted many kiss on her face.
"Mommy.." Alistaire giggled. Jason pulled us to him. He placed me between his legs as i remained standing and carrying Alistaire on my arms.
"Do you want to have a baby sister honey?" Mom simply asked to Alistaire. My daughter quickly nodded to her grandma.
"Ask your Daddy to do it." Lucy laughed. They are so crazy, even on Alistaire they are telling this.
"Daddy.. I want a baby sister." Alistaire said as she was bending to reach Jason. Jason grabbed her and put her in his lap.
"We told you not now, right? We just want to take care of you first." Jason smiled at her. She nodded then kissed him on the lips.
"Mommy don't have a kiss?" I bend on her as she was still in Jason's lap. She wrapped her small arms on my neck then kiss me on my lips. How sweet my daughter is. It feels good to call her a daughter.
"I love you." Jason whispered as i was still bending because of Alistaire's hold.
"I love you too." I smiled. We're doing this in front of them, with the rest of our family. We really don't care, we're just showing how we love each other.
The rest of the night seems to be talking about Alistaire's party and the stuffs we needed. The party cost a fortune, but we don't care as long as Alistaire's happy, that will make us happy too. Lucy went home already, she said to us that she's really tired.
"Where's the goodnight kiss for mommy?" I said as i popped out from my bathroom. I heard her telling to Jason her goodnight. I jumped in my bed then make my way to my middle place.
"Goodnight Mommy. Love you." She kissed me on my lips then hugged me. I put her under her sheets then rub her legs smoothly. She's really pretty. I'm so lucky that i have a very sweet daughter and very understanding fiancè. The tiredness that i'm feeling towards the day, they just swept it with their smiles, their hugs and their kisses. I smiled because of my thought.
"Why are you smiling?" Jason smirked. He grabbed my body then pulled me beside him.
"I was just happy because of this.." I said
"Because of you.. This little girl.. And everyone.. " i continued. I closed my eyes then smile.
"You are the most wonderful person that gave me such happiness like this." I looked into his eyes.
"Don't change baby. Just don't. Every action that you are doing, it's great." I felt a tear forming on my eyes.
"I don't know what will be my life without you. You've been my everything baby.. You are.." Tears running down on my cheeks. I snuggled into his chest as he kissed the top of my head.
"I've been through hell before, i don't want to happen that again.." I said between my tears
"Everything went too quick, but it doesn't matter, 'cause every decision that we are making it's God that centered us.." I touch his face then cupped his cheeks
"Just don't change. Just don't. You've been my addiction and my everything. You make me whole baby, a whole.." I was really crying now. Crying because of all the good things that's happening to us. He wiped my tears and hugged me tight.
"You and Alistaire, you were the reason that's why i'm here. I really love you baby. I really do." I peck a kiss on his lips. He reach for the tissue box in my table then wiped my tears away.
"I don't know why i am crying. I'm happy, super happy.." I smiled between my tears
"I love you so much baby. I love you." I rest my forehead on his as i was saying that. He cupped my cheeks then kiss my lips.
"I love you so much too baby. I like it when you're crying, your lips and nose was so red." He teased. I hit his chest then rest on his body.
"Don't cry again okay?" I nodded. He place a finger on my chin and he peck a kiss on my lips. He kissed the top of my head then hugged me tight.
"You better sleep now. We have date tomorrow." He said. He put my head in my pillow as he fix our comforter.
"What will i wear?" I said. I don't know where are we going.
"Plain. Simple. And comfortable." He smiled. I nodded then kissed Alistaire's forehead.
"Night baby. I love you." I kiss him on the lips for a matter of seconds then pulled out soon.
"Sleeptight princess. I love you so much." Those were the last words that i heard from him. He was still whispering sweet things on me, but that drift me off to my sleep.
His masculine perfume, wafted up my nose. His minty breath, that envelopes me. His arms, where i was wrapped around. His kisses, that used to be my addiction. His touch, that make me feel whole. This man gives me such beautiful and meaningful life to live with. Nothing can compare to him. His my strength, when i'm weak. His my smile, when i'm sad. His my confidence, when i'm down. His really my everything. Truly, He is.
