We finally reached Granny's home. After six long hours. An old house with a beautiful garden. The back of her house has a beach. Good thing that it's not raining here. Different kind of flowers and plants are here on her garden. I was really amused. Her house was fully renovated now. Granny has three helpers here, to help her with everything.
We all walked inside the house. Plain white wall as her ancestral paintings hang on the wall. Couches was on its brown leather seat. I love how all the color of the furnitures compliment to each other.
We are all sitting on the couches. Having the refreshments that Granny prepared.
"Mom, this is Josh, Sierra's boyfriend." Mom introduced him to granny. Josh kissed Granny. Granny just smile at him.
"This is Anika, daughter of Senator Carlson. Of course, girlfriend of my only son." Mom happily said. Anika hugged Granny. I can sensed that Granny like her.
"Of course you know Jason." Mom laughed. Yea. Granny knew Jason. They meet each other at our house, during lunch time.
"Yes. His the amazing man that captured my princess' heart." Granny teased. We all laugh at her. Granny looked over Alistaire that was sitting on Jason's lap. Granny knew the accident that happened to Althea. But she didn't know that i adopted Althea's daughter. Mom whispered at Granny as she also noticed my grandmother's confused look. Granny look shock but smiled later on.
"And who's the little girl?" Granny points her finger to Alistaire. Jason let Alistaire stand. At first Alistaire was shy but soon smile to Granny. Granny wave her hands to Alistaire to let Alistaire go to her. Alistaire run towards Granny and stand in front of her.
"And what is your name?" Granny slouched to look at Alistaire.
"I'm Alistaire Lim Red." Alistaire giggled. My princess look at us then smile.
"Who is your Mommy and Daddy?" Granny put her to her lap. I love Alistaire in all ways.
"My Mommy is Stephanie and Daddy is Jason." Alistaire quickly answered. Granny looked at me, giving me a wonderful smile. Alistaire kiss Granny's cheek then jumped out of Granny's lap. She launch herself to Jason and hugged him.
"She's lovely Stephanie." Granny loudly said. I nodded and smile. I lean on Jason's shoulder and holds Alistaire's hand.
After chatting at Granny's living room. We settled down at dining room. Lunch is what we have. It's already four in the afternoon. The rest of the lunch is about the christmas' plan. Granny will be on the house blessing of our house.
"Alistaire, we will stay at the beach for one hour only." I said as i hold her hand. We are now walking towards the beach. We already changed our clothes into swimwears. All of us will swim. Family bonding it is.
"Go to Daddy." I let go of Alistaire's hand. She run to Jason that was busy talking with my Dad, Steven and Josh.
"Steph, you look good with that bikini." Anika smiled at me. I look at myself and shrugged. I wear my red two piece. Strapless bra for this. I want to look good really good. Sierra's wearing a simple swimwear cause her bump is obvious now.
"Well, you look hot with that too. Steven didn't bother to wink just to look at you." I laughed. Since Anika walked out of the change room, Steven didn't leave sight for her. She wears a black one piece that shows her curve.
Mom, Dad, Lucy and Granny was sitting on the beach chair under the umbrella. As my future husband and Steven was busy talking sitting at the sand.
Water was clear and blue. A little cold also. Sand was white and the weather is on it's good condition. The wind that hit my flesh and bring shivers to my body. It's breath taking.
I sank in the salted water with Alistaire on my arms. Anika was with us because she's really a good company. We stay in the mid part of the water.
"Look at those two Steph." Anika pointed at Jason and Steven cause they are now going to the water.
"Just ignore them." I laughed. Alistaire was still on my arms. Before, I teach her some swimming styles so it's kinda okay with her now. She kicks her feet and move her hands thoroughly.
"Good job honey. More kick." I cheered. Anika was still looking at us she's helping me with Alistaire. I felt arms wrapped on me. I turn my head back as i still hold my daughter firmly.
"Hey hottie." Jason whispered on me. I just laughed at him. Steven pulled Anika a little far from us. They want some time with each other.
"Look at Alistaire Daddy." I squealed happily. I love how our daughter show some moves. She's really pretty. How her hair floats through the water. And she kicked those tiny feet.
"You are so good princess." Jason carry her on his arms. He put Alistaire on his shoulder as his arm support Alistaire's back and the other was on my shoulder.
"I love you two so much." I stated. It's the best feeling in the world. To feel that your in place. To keep and be proud of what you have.
"I love you Mommy and Daddy." Alistaire rest her head on top of Jason's head. He placed his soft lips onto mine. I looked over the others that was sitting under the umbrella, they are all looking at us.
"What else can i say? I have the two beautiful girls with me." Jason laughed. I pulled them both out of the water. It's getting cold now and i think we need to shower because we're heading home already.
"Stephanie.. Jason.. Granny wants to talk to you. Give Alistaire to me first." Mom shouted from their seats. I nodded as i was putting Alistaire's robe. I put on my see through dress and wrapped a big towel to Jason. I'm so thoughtful. We quickly made our way to them. I give Alistaire to Mom and all of them quickly go back to the house. It's only Granny, Jason and I remained in front of the beach as we remained sitting. I don't know what Granny wants from us or should i say why does she needs to talk to us without the others.
I glanced at the calm blue water. It can really help you relax. The sand that where our footsteps are left. The wind that blew hard and give me the coldness that i don't like. How the trees around us waved as the wind blew again.
"Stephanie. How was everything?" Granny breaks the silence. I looked at her trying to sink in her question.
"We're good. I'm having a little trouble in this pregnancy." I smiled. I squeezed Jason's hand as i felt that his body tensed.
"Are you two sure that you can handle this? You are on the next step. You are both important to me. I don't want you to regret this decision." Granny softly said. I know what she meant, it's Alistaire, about living together, this pregnancy and getting married.
"Granny. I know that you love us and with all your respect. I'm ready with this.." I proudly said.
"I know that Mom and Dad settled down at seventeen also but they proved you that they can. They can make their life together.." I touch Granny's hand and looked straight in her eyes.
"I've been in my dark days. My first boyfriend, whom i thought that will love me, left me. It was hard for me Granny. So hard. I was down and i thought to myself that time that no one can love me.." I sighed
"The hurt, that i can't give him the happiness he wants. It all plastered to my mind. I came up to the conclusion that if ever i fall in love again, i'll give everything i can.." Tears started to roll down from my eyes. Jason rub my back as i remained holding Granny's hand.
"He came. You know the feeling Granny? Of being so home? I feel it. Weird, because his there when those down times were mine. He let me open my eyes to reality that, that man never deserves me. That i deserve someone better and that's him." I sob and continue to talk as i cry. I know Granny was just concern with all of this.
"He gave me hope. A reason to wake up on that night mare. That day, i don't know but i just kiss him. He hesitated at first but i insists. I want to feel the spark if his really the one for me. I kissed him and felt that feeling. Feeling that compose myself back. I feel the love that i wanted.." I wiped my tears with the back of my free hand. Jason wants to talk but i stop him. I want to finish this.
"Everything seems to be good. He asked me if i can be his girlfriend and no second thought, i said yes. He'd been amazing and until now his still amazing." I glanced over at Jason and he is now crying. I smiled at him and turn again to Granny.
"Accident happened, Alistaire came. And that opens another chapter of our lives. We've been parents in just a snap. At first, it's hard. But as the day goes by, i woke up realizing that Alistaire was part of us now. She gives me the smile that i always give to Mom. The same laughters that i shared with you when i stayed here before.." I humbly said. Granny wiped my cheeks as i continue to cry.
"The feeling that i'm a Mommy at seventeen, it's priceless. I love her Granny like a real daughter. It never came in to my mind that i don't like her because she's not from my own flesh and blood. I love her so much.." I looked over the calm water. It soothes my ears how the water waves and splash.
"Everything went so fast.. We had sex and i got pregnant. We have a deal that we should have that thing at twenty. But Granny, can you resist this man?" I pointed my finger to Jason.
"I can't. I really can't. The connection and everything around us went light as we did that. I don't know but i'm totally happy after that.." I cried harder and Granny hugged me.
"Things goes by so fast. I'm sorry Granny." Jason said between his tears. We both looked at him but his eyes glued on the water.
"I fell in love deeply with your princess. I was mesmerized with her face. How her eyes twinkle. How her hair swayed. How she talks. and how she acts towards the people. She's a catch. A really good catch.." He smiled as tears was still rolling down to his cheeks. His sight was still on the water.
"She became my addiction.." He sighed
"The love that i have for her, it's the most precious thing that i have. Sleeping with her and waking up with her every morning was just an addition." He looked at me then shifted his look to my Granny.
"I love your grand daughter so much. I can't live a day without her. I can't start my day without her good mornings and ends my night without her kisses. I really love her. No one can give me such happiness like this." He humbly said. Tears rolled down from me again. His talking like i'm not here. His proclaiming his love for me. I feel like i'm the luckiest woman in the world. Just listening to him, saying those things. I did good in this decision.
"We have Alistaire and this baby now. I'm ready and like what she said it's a little fast. But we can't waste any time." He holds my hand and squeezed it.
"I want us to be forever. I want us to have those little kiddos running along our house. I want you to be my wife.." He wiped my tears on my cheeks with his thumb. Granny was wiping her cheek, she's crying too.
"I love her and i will never regret this." He smiled. Granny stands from her seat and hugged us both.
"You truly love each other. Same question that i set for your Mom and Dad before. She was pregnant by that time with you Steph.." Granny smiled at us. She turn her attention to the sand and look for her thoughts there.
"They are both crying as they proclaimed their love to each other in front of me. I asked you that cause i want to know your answers. Same as them." She smiled as she stared at the sand.
"I asked them that thing, here also. Everything was the same. Everything. Your Mom cried same as your Dad. They are so in love with each other. Same as yours too." Granny holds our hands and smile.
"I know you can face whatever life has plan for you. I just asked you, so that if i didn't hear what i want to hear. I can fix it quickly. But.. No. I already heard it. The love, the acceptance and the truthfulness, it's there." She said and embraced us.
"You'll be a great couple. Believe me. I already visioned it. Alistaire and that baby, there will be an addition there. You'll both excel in your careers and life." Granny truthfully said. Is she a fortune teller? I laugh about that.
"You are the perfect man for my princess Jason. You are. She'll be the woman that can have your last name and will be the mother of your children." She kissed Jason on the cheeks then hugged him.
"And you, you'll be the best wife. Happiness awaits you with him. You are going to be happy with life has to give to you. No dark days for you again. He'll do everything he can just to make you happy." She cupped my cheeks as i felt her lips on my forehead.
"I love you both. And sorry if i made you cry." She laughed and pulled us up.
"Granny. I love you so much. Thank you." I hugged her. We started to walk back inside the house.
"Anything for you.. And you.." She turn to Jason
"Love her as much as i love her. Take care of her and your children." He nodded.
Smile stucked on our faces as we stepped inside the house. They are all dress now and ready to go home. Alistaire was sleeping on the couch as Lea cradled her. We quickly showered and change our clothes. I feel so happy about what Granny told us.
"Granny thanks again. See you in our house blessing." I hugged her so tight. The others already bid their goodbyes to Granny and settled on their seats inside the bus.
"Yes. I'll be there. Take care." I nodded then kissed her.
"Thank you Granny." Jason hugged her. Granny winked at me. Silly.
"You're welcome. Go ahead now. You need to rest." We both nodded and give her a last kiss. We quickly jumped inside the bus and sat on our position. It's gonna be six hours drive again.
