"How have you been?" Niall asks as I take a sip of the steaming hot coffee. It runs down my throat and I nod.
"Okay, you?" He places his hands on the wooden table and sighs. The coffee shop is awfully quiet and empty for seven in the morning.
"Not so good. I miss the band so much. I want to keep singing Harry but I wouldn't be able to do it alone."
"Do whatever you want Niall. What did you do when I was in the hospital?"
"I- nothing really. We just waited every day for you to wake up."
"To be honest I'm scared out of my mind." I tell him.
He doesn't look like normal. There's dark circles under his steamy blue eyes. They're not as bright as before.
"Trust me you're not the only one."
"Harry, are you happy again?" He asks.
"What?"
"You came to coffee with me, you've been talking the whole time, you're actually drinking the coffee. Are you better?"
"I want to be but I can't. I can't just say I'm happy without Louis here. Imagine what he'd think, that I'm happy here without him."
"Harry you can feel whatever you want to feel without him. You've made it this far can't you just try? I think he would want you to be happy."
"I don't know." I answer. The tension in the air has grew since we began talking. My stomach is tight with feeling and I can't help but feel wrenched at the mention of happiness. I can barely remember life before all this.
"We have a photo shoot tomorrow. Please come Harry."
"Maybe." I shrug and the rest of the time is spent sipping coffee. No further words are shared.
I'll go to the photo shoot, but maybe I won't pose. Maybe I should try taking the next step, I'm just so fucking scared of falling again.

GUYS TODAY IS MY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY ON WATTPAD! I find that so hard to believe. I love you all so much and I use this app literally every day now. I'm sorry I don't update enough, but I think I've gained some more inspiration to update some more. I've had a break, now I'm back.(-:
