"Harry?" My mum's voice booms and sounds surprised through the phone receiver.

"Hi mum. How are you?"

"Oh love I've missed you too much. But I'm fine. All is well. Is something wrong?" She says.

I love my mum a lot. She's caring and sweet and I'd do anything to have her here right now. But yet I'm still on edge to visit for the weekend because I know it can't be good.

"No. I just thought that maybe I should come up for the weekend.. You know because of thanksgiving."

"Oh yes! Your father always wants to eat as much food as possible even though we aren't Americans who aren't supposed to celebrate Thanksgiving." She laughs more than she should before it goes silent.

"We would all really love that. Are you going to come up?"

"Yeah I guess. I'll start packing tonight." I mumble.

"Darling I love you. Please be safe." Her voice worried.

"I will mum. See you tomorrow." I say and hang up.

I take a deep breath before standing up to pack. All my clothes are clean because I honestly have barely changed. I pack a few black and white tees and dark jeans.

I took a nice warm shower for the first time in forever. I brushed my teeth and actually dressed myself.

It's hard to prepare for this. I don't really know what to expect. I just hope I'm not pelted with questions about Lou. Or that stupid sympathy shit. I just want to spend a little time with my mum and Gemma and that's all.
