"Liiiivyyyy!", a little kid's voice resounded from the hall.

I froze, but Olivia pushed away from me and stood up. My wolf growled at the interruption and I did not appreciate it either. I just knew my mate for not even 24 hours and I already had to share her with everyone. My wolf pouted for what must be the first time in our lives.

Just as I turned towards the entrance of the kitchen I saw a Little girl rushing into Olivia's already open arms. She had bent down so that she was face to face with the child now.

"Is it true? Are you leaving?", the girl wanted to know. Her short brown hair was tied into two pigtails and she wore a blue t-shirt with a mermaid imprint, a pair of jeans and trainers.

Olivia lifted her up and she nestled into my mate's embrace.

"It's true Emma.", she said softly.

"But why Livvy?", Emma pouted.

Olivia kissed Emma's forhead and the girl smiled a little when my mate's lips touched her brow.

"Remember when we talked about mates?", my mate began to tell her.

Emma nodded her head and in an instant her baby blue eyes were locked with mine.

"Is this your mate?", she tried to whisper tell.

Olivia lifted her eyes from Emma's and looked to me.There was love and wonder in her gaze and I felt my own eyes softening yet again for my little mate.
I realized how natural Olivia seemed with a child in her arms and my wolf and I began to wonder how Olivia would look like with our pups. My wolf groaned at the imagination and I tried hard to suppress my arousal.

Somewhere in my mind I knew that I could not be in control forever and that I had to mark and claim her as my mate soon. I marvelled at Olivia's control as well, because she as an Alpha's daughter should feel a strong impulse to complete the mating process too.

"Yes, he is my mate and you know wherever he goes I go as well."

My heart burst, because I knew I would never be alone again. I took a step towards Olivia and Emma, but froze when Emma began to cry.

"So you're never going to play with us anymore?", Emma hiccuped.

My mate smiled gently at her and told her: "I can visit you often!"

"Promise?"

"I promise! What do you think? Should we go to the see the others so I can play with all you kids once more?", Olivia playfully asked Emma.

"YEESSS!", Emma cried out enthusiastically and Olivia set her down again so that she could run to the other kids.

Olivia smiled as Emma made her way out of the kitchen.

I pulled her into an embrace and kissed her forhead softly.

"And now you amazed me once again. Not only can you cook, but you are also good with children. The perfect Luna!"

It struck me then how true my words were. Olivia had all the features a great Luna needed, but why was she paired with a warrior then?
My wolf whimpered, because he felt as if we could not give her anything she would need.

Olivia must have noticed my inner turmoil, because with both her hands she took my face and kissed me gently.

"All I will ever need is you!", she told me seriously.

I sighed and my wolf and I once again felt blessed for having Olivia as our mate.

I kissed her quickly, but decided against being quick and deepened the kiss. Olivia moaned into our kiss and I growled.

I stopped kissing her before we could not control ourselves any longer and told her: "You should go say goodbye to everyone and pack. I'll meet you in an hour in your father's office."

I smiled at the fallen expression, when Olivia heard that we would not be togehter for an hour.

"I know. I hate to be away from you too. I just feel that saying goodbye is something you should do alone. Furthermor I want to call the warrior headquarters and tell them about you and our visit to the council."

Olivia pecked my lips briefly, nodded and said: "If you need me just follow my scent."

Then she turned around and went to search Emma and the other kids.

I exhaled deeply and then pulled my phone out of my jeans pocket.
I powered up my device and saw that I had one missed called from HQ. I called them back and had the luck that Mr. Miller was on the line.

He was the personal assistant of warrior Beck. He was the head warrior and he controlled the missions the warriors got send to.

Mr. Miller connected me with warrior Beck and shortly after I heard his voice speaking: "Warrior Grey. Where are you and your team right now?"

"We are still on Alpha Lockhart's territory, Sir.", I informed him.

"Why are you still there and not back at the HQ?", he asked curiously.

"Sir, I'm going to tell you something that will sound unbelievable, but I assure you Sir I'm telling you the truth!"

"Shoot!"

"I found my mate.", I stated.

For a few seconds I heard nothing and I wondered if our call got disconnected, but then warrior Beck's voice said: "You found your mate? Wow..congratulations warrior Grey! I'm sure you want to visit your uncle and ask the council how something like this can happen."

Warrior Beck sounded thrilled and somehow not really surprised.

Confused I thanked him and told him that Mason, Jake, my mate and I would leave today to get to the council.

"Take any time you need, but report back to me when you arrive at the council. Tell warrior Johnson and Cooper that they're allowed to accompany you and that they are to stay with you for your visit.", he ordered.

"Yes Sir!"

"Take care son and take good care of your mate!", he said and killed the call.

Confused it took me a few seconds to dial the number of my uncle.

"Leo! It's good to hear from you, how are you?", the voice of my uncle sounded through my phone.

"Uncle, Mason, Jake and I are coming to pay you and the council a visit.", I told him somewhere still confused about the weird conversation I just had with warrior Beck.

I did not expect him to let Mason and Jake come with us and I sure as hell did not expect him to sound so fatherly and worried. While it was true that warrior Beck had a soft side as well, he showed it rarely. Maybe he was just affected by my news about having a mate. I shrugged it off, but my subconscious and my wolf both alarmed me to not take it too lightly.

"Did something happen?", my uncles voice sounded concerned.

"I found my mate."

Again for a few moments there was nothing but silence

"How is that possible?", his voice sounded astonished.

"I don't know and that is the reason why I want to pay you a visit."

"O-Of course, I see you soon!", my uncle stuttered and hung up abruptly.

I looked taken aback at my screen. My uncle rarely lost his nerves, however I guess that my situation called for it.

I left the kitchen and went to pack and find Mason and Jake.
