Where are you man? Alpha Wave will be here any second!

Mason contacted me through the mindlink.

Immediately I made my wolf jump up from the spot where we were resting.

Shit! I'm coming!

I ended the mindlink and sprinted back to the pack house.

As every morning I was the first one awake. The thoughts of still not having met my mate consumed my nights and a good part of my day. While I was better to act like everything was alright during the day, the nights were horrible. My dreams were haunted with images of me growing old alone or my mate being killed, which ended up with me being alone as well.

Of course Live was the first one to realize my worries and to notice my dark circles around my eyes. She made me a sleeping potion and now I am able to sleep dreamless through the night. While now I got a good night of sleep I was still the first one awake and I used this opportunity to check the perimeters.

Live tried to talk to me at first and while I really appreciated her taking care of me there was nothing she could do or say to make my worries go away. Each morning when I came down to the kitchen there was a treat placed on the kitchen counter for me. I always had to smile at her gestures, because our Luna definitely knew how to make my day.

Although Live thought she was not helping me, she was!

Leo and Mason were also always there for me, but it still was hard.

I was aware of the fact that Leo refrained from touching or kissing Live too obviously when I was in the same room with them and I really appreciated this.

Since I learned about the truth from Sir Alexander I contacted my parents immediately. They were incredible proud that I was going to be a Beta. My mom cried when I told her that I was also destined to have a mate and she made me promise her grandbabys soon.

However, I was not too sure anymore that there were going to be babys at all.

A short distance away from the pack house I suddenly smelt the most delicious smell.

Pineapple and coconut.

I thought I had already received my treat in the morning, but apprently there was a second treat waiting for me.

I shifted, dressed quickly and seeing nobody in front of the pack house, I figured I still had time.

I made my way into the kitchen, where I saw Live sitting on a counter and Leo standing in between her legs. She had her legs wrapped around him and they were passionately kissing each other.

Live was the first to sense me and immediately pulled away from Leo. He growled at her, but realized me being there as well and entangled himself from his mate.

My Luna blushed and I had to grin at her embarrassed expression. 

She said: "Sorry Jake and good morning."

Leo nodded at me in greeting as well.

"Sorry to interrupt you guys, I just wanted to go get my treat.", I stated.

Live looked confused at me and asked: "Your treat? I placed it on the counter here, but when I came into the kitchen this morning it was gone and I figured that you must have already eaten it."

I looked at her confused as well and answered: "I did, but I smell pineapple and coconut so I thought there was a second one."

Olivia shook her head in denial, but immediately suggested: "I can make you something with pineapples and coconut for tomorrow."

I smiled at her sweet nature and wanted to respond, when Mason mindlinked all of us that Alpha Wave was coming.

Leo lifted Olivia from the counter, which had Olivia smiling and saying: "You know I love it when you do that, but just because I'm pregnant doesn't mean I can't do anything by myself anymore."

I chuckled and rememberd when Leo and Olivia proudly announced that they were having a baby. The pack was delighted and Mason and I were already competing for the position of the godfather of the baby.

Suddenly the pineapple coconut scent got stronger and I mumbled: "Seriously who is hiding the sweets from me?"

We made our way outside and already saw two cars coming closer to the pack house.

Leo pulled Olivia closer and she squeezed his hand in reassurance. Mason was standing next to Live. Since she brought Mason back from the dead and him thinking he caused our Lunas fatal wound two years ago he made it his duty to protect her. He would always check up on her and when Live would go somewhere he always accompanied her.

First it was really getting on Leo's nerves, because he thought Mason liked Olivia more than just a sister. However, once they had a serious and I think two hour long talk everything was fine between those two again and Mason was practically assigned as Olivia's guard. More often than not she managed to escape him and do stuff on her own. It was amusing to watch Mason freak out when he discovered that our Luna once again suceeded in getting away.

The cars had now stopped and Alpha Wave exited the first car with two other werewolves, who were probably there for his protection.

"It's nice to meet you Alpha Grey and your Luna!", he greeted Leo and Olivia kindly and the Alpha had to smile at a beaming Live. She always managed to make everone feel welcome and safe.

"It's a pleasure to meet you as well Alpha Wave!", Leo responded.

Alpha Wave nodded at one of his pack members and at his order he made his way to the second car and opened the door.

Suddenly the scent got even stronger and my wolf whimpered in my mind.

The most beautiful she-wolf exited the car and walked towards Alpha Wave.

Her black silken hair was lightly blowing in the wind and her chocolate coloured eyes immediately zoomed in on me.

She faltered in her steps and I rushed forward to catch her, which was pretty unnecessary as she was not about to fall.

That did not hinder me in making sure she was safely on both of her feet again. When I touched her tan shoulders lightly tingles shot through my body and I muttered: "Mate!"

Taken aback by my sudden appearance in front of her and me muttering mate, her eyes went wide and she said loudly: "Hell no!"

I chuckled at her outburst, all ready for the challenge in making her become mine and I whispered promisingly: "It's going to happen sweetheart!"

At that my mate blushed and I knew that one day she was going to be mine.

I heard laughing in the background and saw Leo, Mason and Olivia smiling happily at me. I could also notice that Olivia was relievied. I instantly felt a bit guilty for making her worry about me so much, but when the goddess creature in front of me side stepped me and went to the others I was quick to forget those thoughts and followed her with a hand on her lower back. I could feel the heat coming from her and I had to refrain from grabbing her and kissing her senseless.

In my mind my wolf jumped around full of joy because he finally found his mate.

Alpha Wave smiled kindly at me and introduced us: "This is my daughter Keiki and this, Keiki, is an ex warrior and now Beta from the Blue moon pack Jake Cooper."

My mate gasped and looked wide eyed at me when she heard that I was an ex warrior.

I on the other side was distracted with learning her name.

"Keiki.", I whispered and my mate immediately blushed again and looked down.

"Just because we're mates doesn't mean I have to like you instantly!", Keiki said defensively.

I laughed at her, winked and answered: "Challenge accepted!"
