The answer was light blue Yay! Anyways, back to the story.

Travis came running after me. Okay. That was supposed to be the part where I walk away with sass and they just stare in awe, but this guy! Just had to come running after me. Maybe it wasn't cool enough...

"Heeeey Katelyn!" Travis said as he walked along side me. I sped up my pace a little. He still kept up and so I started to lightly jog. "Are you sure you want to run around the school? Cause I'll follow you where ever you go."

I took that as a challenge from him. "You want to race me? Bring it on. Come to the court yard after school." I said as I turned the corner and walked away. Luckily, this time he didn't follow me.

After more hours of hell, aka Travis annoying me school was over. For some reason, Travis was in all of my classes. I bet he did something... anyways, I was going to go to violin lessons when I remembered about the promise. Shoot! I had to finish it quick or just cancel it. Ugh how did I forget!

I decided that I should just cancel the race since it could be done later. I went to the court yard, but he wasn't there. I walked around the school looking for him. I didn't know him at all, so I didn't know his friends, where he'll hang out or anything much.

I didn't want to ask anyone, but eventually I asked Dante. He told me that he saw him going into the music room so I walked down the hall to the music room.

I was going to walk in when I quickly stopped myself because I saw someone sitting at the piano. It was Travis.

His hands were on the piano as if he was going to play, but his hands didn't move. His face expression was kind of sad, and that took me by shock. It was still his first day, but I've never seen Travis look sad or upset.

I didn't know what to do so I just stood there staring at him. Travis let out a sigh and stood up from the piano. I didn't want him to know I was looking at him, so I called out his name.

"Travis!" I said. When Travis looked at me, his sad expression was replaced with a big smile, that made it hard to imagine him wearing the same expression that he previously had on.

"Heeeeey Katelyn." He said. I sighed in annoyance. "I have lessons today so I can't race you today." Travis' eyes landed on my violin. "Violin lessons? Ok that's fine. But that means I won."

I looked at him in disbelief. He wasn't at the court yard either! I was going to say something back when my eyes landed on the clock. If I didn't leave now I was going to be late!

"Because you were hard to find, I have to go now or I'm gonna be late. Bye! " I said as I ran out of the room. "Bye Katelyn!" I heard him say from behind me.

I ran towards my violin teachers house, and apologized to her. She said it was all ok and started to teach me. She was really nice, but she was strict too. That's what I liked about her.

My violin teacher wrapped things up, and ended the lesson at around 4:00. My violin teacher had taught me an interesting technique, and so I wanted to practice it as soon as I could. Since the school was closer and it probably wasn't closed, I went to the school. There usually weren't much people at school at around 4:00 anyways.

The school wasn't closed, and so I went into the school. As I went into the music room, I saw the piano and remembered about Travis. I shooed the thought away because I don't like to practice as my thought is elsewhere. I practiced the technique, and my short etudes. I played my piece as I thought about who should accompany me at my competition.

I could just hire an accompaniment, but I find that weird. Even if my piano teacher introduced me to someone, that'll be weird too. Some people in my grade played the piano, but I wouldn't exactly call them... good.

I sighed and continued to practice my violin.
