Be My Girlfriend ~34~

The next day, Travis and I walked up to the building to go and receive our results.

I took a deep breath, and Travis held my hand. I squeezed it slightly and he squeezed back.

We walked inside and checked the board. We looked through all the names looking for my name.

"Oh! Found it!" Travis said and I shushed him wanting to find it by myself.

I was looking for a while when I finally spotted my name.

I... I had recieved second place.

I squealed as I hugged Travis tightly. "Thank you so so so so much." I said hugging him.

"It's no problem." He said with a chuckle. "I'm happy I got to help you."

"You know, this competition meant a lot to me, because a famous violin player was there. I wanted him to see what I can do." I admited to Travis as we were walking back.

I was holding my medal in my hand as Travis smiled at me.

"How could he not notice someone as beautiful as you?" Travis said and I laughed my face heating up slightly.

"You're blushing." He pointed out.

I blushed even more. "Am not!"

He smirked. "Somebody's blushing!"

"I'm not!" I said slapping him. I may have slapped him a bit too hard because he clutched his arm in pain.

"Oops sorry. But that's your fault for making fun of me." I said and he laughed.

"Yeah."

"Hey wanna stop by my house?" He asked me and I nodded.

"Sure."

Travis' P.O.V

To tell you the truth, I was scared that when the competition ended that she wouldn't talk to me anymore. That she'll completely cut contact with me.

That once today ended, I wouldn't see her anymore.

And I didn't want that.

I had to do something, and it had to be today. No more pushing it for later.

Katelyn's P.O.V

We walked into Travis' house and I sat on the couch. I looked around the house remembering what Travis said. 

I decided not to ask questions because I didn't want to push it.

"So." I said.

"Soooooo." He said.

There was an awkward silence.

"Wanna play some video games? " he asked me and I smiled and nodded.

We played many video games, and now we started playing Mario kart.

I won the first race, and I let out a victory whoop. I laughed in travis' face because he was last.

"That wasn't fair!" He pouted and I rolled my eyes.

"Life isn't always fair. Deal with it."

The second round Travis came first and I came second.

This went on for a while, and we started betting again.

"Whoever gets the most points for these 4 matches, wins a favour for the other!" I yelled and Travis grinned.

"Oh yeah!" Travis exclaimed as he grabbed his remote and we went back to playing.

"That's not fair!" I yelled.

"Life isn't fair. Deal with it." Travis said back to me and I growled. He used my line back at me.

Travis had elbowed me during the game and I dropped the remote, causing me to lose the match.

In the end, he won of course.

"That was actually not fair though! You cheater!" I exclaimed and Travis smirked.

"We never established any rules about cheating." He said and I scowled because he was right.

"Fine. I lost. What do you want me to do?" I asked him.

He walked up to me. "Be my girlfriend." He said as he walked closer and my back pressed against the wall.

"Hah. What are you saying?" I asked him, assuming he was joking. But when I looked at Travis' face, Travis looked serious.

"I want an answer, and I won't move away until you give me one." He said.

I stayed silent and looked away, my cheeks hot from me blushing so much.

He grabbed my chin and made me look at him. He was blushing as well.

"Katelyn. Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked me.

I mumbled my answer.

"What? I couldn't hear you." He said.

"I said yes." I said a bit louder this time, my cheeks a deep shade of red now.

"You'll be my girlfriend!?" He exclaimed surprised.

"I said yes so stop making me say it so many times!" I exclaimed and Travis smirked.

"Well I guess if you're my girlfriend I can do this." He said as he leaned in and kissed me.

I didn't pull back. I knew I liked it, because when he pulled back I wanted to hug him close.

And so I did. I hugged him tightly, like I couldn't get enough of him.

"You know, you didn't have to waste your bet on asking me to be your girlfriend. You could've used your bet on something, and asked me later on." I said as I stared into his eyes.

He shrugged. "I felt that if I didn't ask you now, I wouldn't have the courage to do it later and that I'll lose you."

"I wouldn't have ever left you." I mumbled not looking at him in the eyes.

"And I will never leave you Katelyn." He said with a smile as I smiled back at him.

"I won't ever leave you too." I said as I hugged him. "You're not getting away from me now."

"I dunno if should be happy or scared." He said with a laugh and I laughed along with him.

The rest of the day Travis and I just chilled at his house. It was pretty fun, but once it got later he walked me back to my house.

He was about to walk away when the door burst open. It was my dad.

"Who's this Sugar Pea?" He asked me and my blood went cold.

Was I supposed to call him my boyfriend? But then my dad may get upset. But if I call him my accompanist, Travis may get upset.

"He's..."
