Dodgeball Part 3 ~16~

I was alone on my team. Aaron was alone on the other team, true, but he was much more physically advanced than me.

I guess I just have to go and fight Aaron. I could go and find the bracelet, but that would make me concentrate on looking for the bracelet and less on Aaron. It's much more safer to go and face him head on.

I walked around the area, cautious of my surroundings as I searched the area.

He wasn't at the place where he was last, so he must be up to something.

I searched around the area when I spotted Aaron. He was walking around gathering more balloons from his fallen companions and putting it on the belt around his hip.

I looked down at my belt. It had 3 balloons left. And Aaron now had 8.

If I brought this into a 1 on 1 head on fight, it may get a bit complicated and not go well for me.

So the best way to do this is to jump on him. I could throw a balloon from where I am now. It wouldn't be fair but if I scared him and then threw one may be too late if he had very good reflexes.

I hid behind a counter my arm ready to throw. I don't have bad aim. It's actually pretty good, so nothing could go wrong.

I grabbed the balloon and threw it right at his face.

Travis' P.O.V

I sat down with Dante in silence as I watched the battle in front of us. I was lucky to have gone out where there is a good view.

Aaron had currently wiped out 3 members of their team, with the help of McCloud who took Nicole out.

I assumed Brendan and Aphmau were out because they went behind a corner, and Katelyn went with Nicole later and they didn't come out.

So it was Aaron vs Katelyn huh... it would've been much more amusing if I had been the only one left with Katelyn. But I guess that didn't happen.

As I was staring at Aaron he seemed to come towards me. When he came over he stood in front of me.

Unable to speak due to the rules, I raised an eyebrow.

"Here." He said holding out a bracelet with a bit of green paint on it.

I took it and asked, "how did u find it so quickly?"

"Well there weren't any rules against stealing the bracelet from someone even if they were out."

I smirked at how smart Aaron was. I guess it isn't just his physical strength, but his mental strength that is strong.

I took the bracelet and was about to stand but he stopped me.

"I think that Katelyn is around. She will probably throw a balloon at me or something so pretend you're out. Once she thinks she won hit her. Ok?"

I nodded and sat back down trying to hide my bracelet a bit.

Then Aaron went up to Dante. "Can I have your balloons? I'm almost out and if she were to come out, I want to have a good fight."

Dante nodded and Aaron took a few balloons. Aaron is a bit quieter than the others, and have a bit of a bad temper, but he's a very nice guy to be around. Not to mention, he's pretty sweet towards Aphmau.

Aaron then turned around and started to walk around, searching his surroundings. I guess he's pretty much acting as bait.

When the balloon hit Aaron it was a bit funny but I stifled a laugh.

Katelyn's P.O.V

I sat there in shock. I thought getting Aaron out was going to be hard! Well that is a bit anticlimactic...

I stood up because that was the end of the game and I kinda stood there awkwardly not knowing to do. I decided to go see Aphmau and as I took a step forward I felt something hit the side of my face.

I felt the side of my head to see green paint smeared on my hand and I gasped.

I turned around to see Travis standing there with a big smirk plastered on his face.

I was unable to form any words and I just stared at him not fully processing what had happened.

"Don't let your guard down." He said with a wink.

That's when I snapped. "TRAVIS!" I yelled from frustration as I stomped my foot on the ground.

"What?" He asked flashing me an innocent smile though his eyes danced with amusement.

"All you did was cheap tricks! You cheater!" I yelled as I threw my last two balloons at him.

"Agh! Hey! I didn't do anything against the rules! Even this bracelet." He said pointing at his bracelet. "Though it was stolen from Garroth there were no rules against it. And you guys were the ones who allowed Aaron to follow you guys."

I was fuming "You stole that from Garroth!? I swea-"

I felt a hand on my shoulder and I turned around to see Nicole. "Hey don't go yelling and be a party pooper! That was fun!" Nicole said.

"Yeah but!-"

"Yeah! How about we go and grab something to eat?" Laurence asked.

"Yah I'm starving." Garroth agreed.

"Aren't u guys upset!?" I asked them.

They all looked at each other and furrowed their eyebrows.

"No why would we?" Garroth asked.

"But he cheated!" I said.

"That wasn't cheating it was actually pretty smart!" Aphmau said.

"Plus it's just a game." Laurence said.

I sighed and gave away. "Fine." I said. I looked around at everyone and laughed. "Well at least now everyone has paint on them."

Everyone else joined me and laughed. Even Brendan and McCloud who were a bit quieter joined in.

"Who's coming to eat?" Nicole said and everyone raised their hand and cheered except Brendan and McCloud.

"Are you guys not coming?" Aphmau asked them and they shook their heads.

"I have to go study for a test." Brendan said. Jeez he knows how to ruin his school life. He needs to let loose!

"I have to go to swim practice." McCloud said and we nodded.

"Fine ok so it'll be us 8." Dante said.

"So where do we go?" Aaron asked and we all looked at each other.

Hey! Was that ending good? I dunno I just wanted Travis to have a come back and win cause that seemed much better.
