In Harmony -A Travlyn FF

The race! ~7~

I packed up my stuff, while Travis just stood there awkwardly with his music in his hands.

"So are you ready?" I asked him. "To go home? I'm ready to go home any day." Travis replied with a huge grin.

I laughed. "No. For the race." Travis sighed. "I was hoping for you to forget about that."

I laughed. "Me? Forgetting about a chance to beat you!? Of course I wouldn't forget!"

We decided the route to run in and got in our positions.

"Ready, set, GO!" I yelled as we raced down the field. I had been planning to not try as much, but I had underestimated Travis. He was already catching up to me!

I started to sprint full speed; since it was a 200m race and I'm better at short distances. Travis wasn't too far behind as I reached the goal.

I collapsed on the ground as I panted tired from all the running. I had underestimated Travis!

Travis then came over to sit beside me as I lay on the ground.

"Do you do any sports?" I asked him out of curiously. "I play swimming why do you ask?" He asked raising an eyebrow.

"Just curious." I said and Travis continued to look at me. "What?" I asked.

"Do you play any sports?" He asked me. "Well... no. I just like to run, and sometimes I go jogging, but not for competitive or anything."

"Then that's natural talent I guess." Travis said. "Thanks... I guess..." I said not really knowing how to respond to his complement.

There was an awkward silence. I looked up at Travis who was staring at the sky. "You owe me one now." I said as I broke the silence. Travis looked at me questioningly. (Is that even a word? ... I think so)

"You just lost the race. So now you have to listen to 1 thing that I say." I explained to him.

Travis looked me at shock. His eyes wide and eyebrows raised. "You never told me that if I lost I owed you one!"

I smirked. I knew what I wanted to say just for my sake. "I forgot. Anyways, I want you NOT to spam me on text. Please. It's really annoying."

Travis's shocked expression faded and it turned to a smirk. "I can do that!"

"Great! Now we better start getting home... it's getting quite later and we don't want to make our families worry so we?"

Travis frowned. "Ya... I guess so..."
