Dodge ball part 2 ~15~

I saw Garroth and Laurence going up to the second floor.

"I think the plan is going well." Nicole said and I nodded.

I thought about the plan for a while until I realized something was off. "Where is Aphmau?" I asked her.

Nicole then looked at me like I was crazy "she was supposed to hide until it was her turn to take part in the plan. She's probably just hiding and u just can't see her."

But I shook my head. "No she told me where she was going to be hiding until it was her turn so we could stay in contact with her!"

"Maybe she just moved places because someone was coming."

"That's also worrying but that is least likely possible. If so she would tell us! And that was enclosed so no one would be able to see her unless they looked very hard!" I said out of worry. Maybe I was just being too careful, but it just didn't seem right.

Nicole didn't say anything. It seemed like she was thinking about what I said.

"I don't want to take chances Nicole. We've got to go look for her!" I said and she finally nodded agreeing.

I went up to the place Aphmau was hiding and opened it. It was empty. I slammed the door shut and continued to look for her.

That's when I heard a tiny yelp. I ran towards it and peeked around the corner. It seemed as if Aphmau had fallen on the ground. Behind her, was Brenden holding his balloons.

I tried to run up and stop him but he had already threw them at Aphmau.

So guess what I did? I threw a bunch of balloons aimed right at his damned face.

He fell down with a satisfying thump and I looked at Aphmau.

She couldn't say anything due to the rules; which Travis kinda broke when he talked to me, but her eyes seemed to say that she was sorry.

"It's not your fault Aphmau I said shaking my head. Now stay put! I'm gonna go get that bracelet for you." I said.

Nicole nodded. "Plus it was our fault for taking our eyes off you."

Nicole and I then rushed away to go look for Garroth and Laurence to tell them that the plan had failed.

We ran upto the second floor as Garroth and Laurence had previously done.

When we went there I saw them chatting and laughing about something.

It annoyed me because we were taking this very seriously, but I guess it's unavoidable since they were very close.

"Oh hey Katelyn" Laurence said as he turned around and Garroth waved at us.

"So basically umm ya know the-" Nicole started but I cut her off.

"The plan failed because Brendan got to Aphmau. We were too late so we just kinda.."

"She smashed Brendan's face with balloons." Nicole said finishing her sentence. I glared at her but she stuck her tongue out jokingly.

"I guess then we should look for the bracelet but stick together." Garroth said and we all nodded.

"And then he tripped and his pizza fell on his head." Laurence said wheezing from laughter, with Garroth laughing and clutching his stomach beside him.

Nicole and I found it funny but not as funny as they found it so we kinda just let out small laughs.

Honestly speaking, I was worried that they were going to call someone over from the other team by accident with all their noises.

"Hey I think we should be-" I was cut off by Garroth who was ahead, jumping up and down.

"Hey! I found something like it!" He said.

We all ran towards it and Garroth opened it.

"Is this it?" Laurence and I looked at the bracelet.

"I think so. Seems pretty new." I said and Nicole chuckled a bit nodding.

"Okay let's go give this to Aphmau." We said as I grabbed the bracelet and  we turned around ready to go."

"Not so fast." A voice said as Garroth got hit in the face and fell to the floors

There was no time to think about Garroth now. Right now standing in front of us was the worst possible person who could've found us.

"What about you hand that over to us." Aaron said sticking his hand out.

"That's not fair! That's such a dirty trick!" Nicole yelled in complaint.

"Not my fault. Travis told me to do this. If you're gonna get pissed at someone, get pissed at Travis."

I was fuming. Of course Travis would think of this! I gripped on the bracelet in my hand. Garroth was right behind us. Should I give it to him or give it to Aphmau as I promised her?

I sighed stepping forward to hand Aaron the bracelet when I quickly threw it to Garroth.

I immediately started running knowing I was no match for him. I was never in his PhydEd classes but I'm hoping I never will. It's pretty scary.

Everyone else ran in different directions to give Aaron a moment of confusion as to which one he should follow.

But he didn't. He grabbed his balloons and started aiming. Laurence was hit on the back of his head and Garroth was hit once again.

Nicole and I ran in hope of not getting caught. Damn he was good at throwing the balloons! We ran in zigzag motions and ran quickly so we weren't caught. It was very scary since balloons were popping left and right though.

We ran behind this small shelter on the first floor and hid ourselves, still breathing heavily from all the running.

Nicole and I were still shocked from what had happened. We were doing so well until he had came.

I guess we had become careless since we thought everything was going so well.

"Hey Nicole." I said turning towards her and I gasped.

She was covered in green paint and she looked at me as if she was trying to warn me.

I quickly rolled away hearing a splash behind. I stood up and faced the person to see McCloud.

He was so quiet I had forgotten about his existence! Luckily thanks to Nicole I was able to get away though.

I threw my balloon at him and ran. He got hit and fell and I just kept running.

I have no one. No one on my team is left! This is bad. This is really really bad.
