Travis' POV

As I was walking back home, I thought of the choices of the people I could ask to me on my team. Garroth, Laurance and Dante for sure I had to ask. They were now like my best bros. I could ask my teammate McCloud maybe, since he's on my swim team and I know he has the stamina. I guess I could try asking Aaron. We don't talk much, but we know each other, and I know he's a very good athlete.

I kicked a rock as I neared my home. I pulled out my keys and walked up to my door to open it.

I entered the silent house and collapsed onto the couch. There were no greetings from anyone obviously since I live alone, but it still made me feel a bit lonely.

The silence engulfed me as I just lay there on the couch. I thought about our so called date today. I remembered it all and grinned at the thought of Katelyn wearing a dress next time.

Katelyn was a mystery to me. She just suddenly came into my life, bumping into me when we first met. She was like a storm. Dangerous and unpredictable, but sometimes did no harm.

When she first asked me to be her accompanist I had immediately agreed, but now I'm not so sure of my choice. Was I ready to play?

There's no turning back now though. Even if I tried to she wouldn't let me. Annoying Katelyn is pretty amusing though. Her reaction is funny and she does look pretty cute when she's upset.

When I realize I had gone too far, I stop but I don't think I'll ever stop bothering her as long as I know her.

Out of all the girls she stands out too much. She is a good athlete and is fast at running. She is pretty hot headed and can upset me at times, but that's what makes her stand out even more. And her violin playing. Just... wow.

As I was laying on the couch thinking I got a text from Dante.

Dante: Hey! I set up a blind date for you are you interested?

I scoffed surprised from his text.

Travis: Uh no. I'm sorry.

Dante: What? But you'll usually agree.

Travis: I jut don't feel like it...

Dante: Do you have ur eyes on another girl?

Travis: What!? No way.

Dante: Is it Katelyn??

Travis: ...

Travis: No

Dante: It is isn't it?

Travis: I just think she's interesting that's it

Dante: 😏

Travis: Thats it!

Dante: Mmhmm 😏 Well I gotta go eat dinner see ya!

Travis: Bye

My eyelids had started to droop so I decided I should just sleep on the couch, and I slowly drifted off into darkness.

I woke up with a big yawn, my mouth big enough to swallow the room. Since it was staurday, there was no need to rush.

I went to the washroom and freshened myself up so I won't look like a zombie.

I made my self some breakfast and quickly ate it. I then grabbed my keys to take a walk.

When I was walking my mind wandered once again to Katelyn. I don't know why but I keep doing so.

I had a secret. It's not the bad kinda secret where you ashamed of and don't want to tell anyone because you don't want to be thought bad of, or don't want to be embarrassed. My secret is the kind of secret that you don't want to tell anyone because you're scared, and it's the kind of secret that you keep to yourself because it hurts.

The way that Katelyn gets close to me kind of scares me. I know I'm the one approaching her, but she's the one who is so interesting. And how fast we're getting close, scares me.

I feel like she's going to get close to me and know my secret. But I don't want that. I don't want anyone to pity me. I want to be normal.

I walked on and on until I reached my destination. I looked around and grinned in satisfaction. This is going to be a great place to bring Katelyn.
