~Daxera's POV~

Today is Tuesday, and I've had to leave a resting Russell at his uncles two nights before so I could take my finals yesterday and today. Finishing them all, it is around five or so in the afternoon before I head back to my dorm to take a shower. After my shower, I am going to go see him.

My foot wouldn't stop aching the whole day after he woke up 'cause of all the stress I put on it. Now though, it hurts a lot less since I advent been on it as much.

I turn the water faucet on then pull the metal piece, turning on the shower head. I relax in the nearly scalding water for a few seconds before I wash clean. Shutting the water off, I take the towel from the towel rack then dry my hair and foot as much as I can before I wrap the towel around my waist, put my boot on, then walk into my bedroom.

Picking a pair of boxers from the drawer, I drop my towel and pull them on.

"Hello, Konicaiwh, Bonjour, Hola, Aloha, Guten tag, Namastê; You know, I saw you looking like-" I snatch my phone off the bathroom counter and answer the call without looking at who it is.

"Hello?" I ask as I walk to my dresser to pull out some trousers.

"Hey," Russell greets me. "When we were talking before, we discussed about having a lunch date, but because its past lunch, I was wondering if you would go for a dinner date tonight instead?" He says, making me confused.

"Shouldn't you still be recovering from the bullet wound?" I ask, voicing my confused thoughts.

"Well, I'm fine enough to go out and have a dinner date," Russell says with a chuckle.

"Ok, fine. Sure we'll go on a dinner date, I will ask my questions then. You have any place in mind?" I ask as I take off my boot, slip on some black form-fitting jeans, then put it back on my foot.

"Yeah a place some of my uncles friends own. It borders a small area of forest land they own where they let their pets run around," Russell says emphasizing pets in a weird way, but perking my interest none the less.

"Oooh, what kinda pets?" I ask excitedly, causing him to chuckle again.

"You'll have to wait and see," Russ says teasingly.

"Kay, fine. What time are we going?" I ask, seeing that my clock says: 5:37.

"I'll pick you up at six fifteen, but I have to go now, so I can let them know we are coming. I will see you when I get there," Russell explains.

"Ok, see ya later," I say then end the call and put my phone in my pocket. I head to my closet to pick out a shirt, searching though the hangers, I finally come across a shirt that I decide that would be fine to wear. It is a black based shirt that has a star constellation designs and a lot of colors. I slip the shirt on, then brush though my hair with my fingers to make it look suitable for the date.

Heading into the kitchen, I get myself a Pepsi out of the fridge for the wait. I sigh contently thinking of Russell.

I'll admit he and the people around him are kinda weird but I like it. I just hope my weird doesn't ruin it. I think to myself with a half-smile. He clearly doesn't let 'small wounds', as he put it before, stop him.

I laugh this time. After pulling myself together, I sit down on my couch and play some music through my phone to allow myself to relax. The music is indie mixed with electronic; soothing but it also makes me feel good.
