Chapter Twenty-six: Elements And Dispelling

~Daxera's POV~

I dodge the water tentacles Darius attempts to hit me with them seeing an opening, I take a jab at him for the fiftieth-something time with my energy sword but am stopped in my tracks by his water.

"Good try, but not good enough," he says as he throws me to the ground.

I sigh as I roll over onto my back. Looking up at him from where I lay, I decide to get up and try another attack. I cover myself in a shield then run up to him as his tentacles slam against my shield. I manage to just poke Darius with my sword before he shatters my shield and soaks me in water.

I wonder how he creates water with his Magic.

"That is better," he says with a smile.

I laugh. "That was fun, but I was wondering, how do you make water? I was trying to create water yesterday after I figured out-" I create the bladed disk in my hand, "-that I could make these but it just wouldn't work," I say a little annoyed at myself. Darius looks at me like he is thinking about something.

"Elements are complicated but I think you are could be ready. Follow me, we're going to see Irelia," he says as he turns and starts walking towards her house. I follow close behind him.

'Hey Russ, in case you come looking for me, I am heading to Irelia's for some Witch training. I will be back soon,' I tell him through the link.

'Alright, be safe. If you need me let me know. Also, I love you Dax,' he tells me, making my heart beat faster and I feel warm all over.

I smile at him though I know he can't see it. 'I will. I love you,' I say meaning it then close the link. Because I was talking to Russ, I wasn't paying attention to where I was going which causes me to walk into the back Darius.

"Sorry," I say when he looks back at me in confusion.

"It's fine. We're going in now," he says as he opens the door and walks in. I step through then follow him to another door that he knocks on. "Irelia, its Darius and Daxera, if you aren't busy, I'd like to talk to you about his training," he calls through the door. Suddenly it opens for us.

"Come in," she says gesturing to two chairs in front of a small coffee table that she sits behind in a big chair.

"Thank you, anyway," Darius begins as he sits down making me sit too. "We were training when Daxera asked how to create water which got me thinking about his element, and I was wondering if we could do the test to find out what his is?" Irelia looks at me before responding.

"Sure, I think it would be a good idea for him to learn his element. Have Mirana send a message to Blair, Lauren, and Hayden. We don't need everyone else for this," she tells Darius. "And Daxera, follow me."

I do as she says and follow her out of the back room we are in. She turns, leaves, and walks to a set of stairs that lead to what I guess to be the basement. I walk down the stairs with her and into a room that is split in four sections.

Each corner has a different theme, water, fire, earth, and air. The water section has a waterfall that seems to come from no where as it splashes into a small pool with various colored rocks in it. The fire section's walls are completely engulfed in flames but burns nothing. The earth section has a small mountain that keeps crumbling and reforming over and over again. The wind section has a small tornado that stays in place swirling around furiously.
