Chapter Eleven: The Calm

~Third Person POV~ ~Place Unknown~

"King, I am going to have you-know-who retrieve the you-know-what from the little 'Alpha's' car." Mr. Informant says Alpha like he is spitting out bad milk.

"Good, good. I want this to happen soon so I can watch the Windfall pack fall," King says while sitting in his throne-like-chair. "I can't fucking wait!" He exclaims cheerily with a borderline insane laugh.

Mr. Informant shudders in fear then decides to speak. "W-what shall y-you have me do M-master?" He asks in genuine fear.

"Go back and keep tabs on everything then tell me when when our little spy has done her job," King says bluntly. Mr. Informant nods then quickly leaves the room. King sits there thinking of many ways to destroy the Windfall pack when suddenly someone else comes into the dark menacing room.

"King, I have information about the Windfall Packs soon-to-be Alpha." Mr. Spy says to King.

"Ahh, yes. What do you have for me?" King asks.

"Well, he has found his mate while there, and their relationship has moved quite fast. He already knows about Wolf Shifters and also Jess has found her mate there too," Mr. Spy states to King who then huffs in annoyance.

"Alright, then I'll have to deal with that when the time comes. One more thing, inform my little rogue friend that I need him for another job," King says with a dark laugh. He then dismisses his spy and watches him leave.

~Daxera's POV~

I look around Alistar's living room as we sit in silence waiting for him to talk to us. The living room is black and white themed with a huge glass window looking out over the city. Emma is sitting on one of the sofas with Orion and Ben. Russell is sitting on the love seat while I'm cuddled into him. Alistar is staring out of the window. Jess and Charlie aren't here because Charlie doesn't know about the Wolf Shifters yet, so Russell told her to distract him while we have our little meeting.

"So whats up?" Russell asks, breaking the silence. Alistar looks at Russell then starts to talk.

"I was wondering when you're heading back to Vegas?" Alistar asks still looking at Russ.

"I was thinking after Dax changes and after we see what Charlie dose," As Russ speaks I wonder what Charlie would think. I'm sure he'd be really freaked out, but who knows, I don't think he feels the same way I do. At least not as strongly as I do.

"Alright, there has been another rogue attack. No casualties from your pack and they caught one to interrogate. The reason I was asking is because your dad wanted to know," Alistar says to Russ. I look at him while he thinks about what was said. As if he can feel my stare, he looks at me and smiles.

"Alright, I'll call him and tell him what is gong on," Russell pauses and looks at Alistar. "Have you told him that I've found my mate?" I look at Alistar waiting for his response.

"No I didn't. All I said to him was that something unexpected came up and that its up to you to tell him what is going on," Alistar replies as he looks at us both. I sit for a second thinking about Russell telling his dad about us then I get a little worried.
