~Russell's POV~

My eyes shoot open, feeling my wolf near taking over, but I stop him and try to calm us down.

'What the hell was that?' I ask Whitefang, confused.

'It was our mate's Wolf,' he tells me.

'How can its eyes have two colors like it does?' I ask even more confused.

'I don't know, maybe our mate is special?' Whitefang suggests excited by the idea.

'I'm going to talk to dad about this, he'll have and idea of what to do,' I tell Whitefang as I stand up. I walk over to my dresser, pulling out some shorts then slip them on.

Sighing before opening the door, I begin walking to my Dad's office.

'I need to talk to you dad. I am on my way,' I inform him through the mind link. Before he can reply though, I'm already opening the door to his office.

"Ok then, come on in," he says a little sarcastically causing me to chuckle.

"Do you know of any Wolf Shifters with three eye colors? For example, half the iris of the left eye is green and the other half is our Alpha purple, while the right blue eye is also half purple," I explain, sitting down in a chair.

Dad thinks for a second then answers: "um no, I have no idea. And what's with the weird question?" He asks me.

"I had a dream where I didn't recognize my Wolf and there was another called Dahlia. A little bit afterwards I ended up seeing its eyes, and they were how I described earlier: green left eye, blue right eye, but both are half purple," I tell him.

"Explain the whole dream to me." He says a little confused.

After I explain the whole dream to him, he sits back in his chair and thinks about it for a second. I just wait for him to respond.

"I'm not really sure. It actually confuses me that Dahlia would have half purple eyes for two reasons. One is that only the Alpha and soon to be Alpha can have purple eyes, not some random Wolf. Second is that if Dahlia is human, when they turn, their eyes should just get brighter, almost glowing not become half their own eyes and half their mates. Do you know the gender of the Wolf?" Dad asks, blending the information in his head, trying to make sense of it.

I shake my head. "No, though Whitefang did say it is our mates Wolf we saw," I add, telling him the last bit of info.

"I'll just call Alistar and ask him, he knows a lot about dreams that pertain to mates, I will tell you what he says when I reach him," Dad says.

"Ok, I'm going to go to town for a little bit, then. I'll be back later," I reply.

"Make sure I can reach you so I don't have to send Emma or John after you again," Dad tells me seriously.

"Alright," is all I say, as I walk back to my room.

The thing about us next in line Alphas is that if we close the connection off for peace and quiet, not even the current Alpha can reach us, which can sometimes cause issues, kinda like yesterday.

I walk through the house until I reach my room then I grab my car keys, wallet, and phone. Feeling satisfied that I have everything I need, I walk out of the house to the right side where the pack parks their cars.

Walking up to my baby blue 2017 Shelby Mustang, I unlock it and get in. Putting the key into the ignition, I twist it, starting the car and listening to its beautiful purr. I close the door and back out of my parking space, then pull onto the road to drive to town. While driving, I plug my phone into the car and press play on my favorite playlist.
