19: Drunk In Love

✮Tyler's POV✮

The game was turned off after a few rounds. My band ended up winning. I think Josh being drunk helped. By now everyone had split up around the apartment. Gee decided to invite a few of his neighbors over. There was music playing and I hummed along to the Green Day song.

Some say I'm disturbed
But it's what I deserve
Another lesson to be learned
From a girl called kill

"You're so pretty, Tyler," Josh said. His breath was warm against my ear. I laughed and buried my face in his neck to hide my blush. I kissed him before turning back towards the small crowd.

"I'm gonna go to the bathroom."

"Alright. I'll just sit here." Josh's eyelids we're growing heavy. I kissed his forehead and walked towards the hall. I accidentally bumped into someone on the way.

"I'm so sorry!" The guy looked at me with a smile.

"It's cool, dude. I'm Alex," he said.

"I'm Tyler."

"Do you live in this building, too? I've never seen you around."

"Uh, no. I'm just a friend of Gerard's."

"Cool. Well, I'll see you around."

"See ya," I said. He turned back to his friends and I walked away. I almost ran into someone else but stopped myself just before I did. I reached the bathroom and knocked. When I got no response, I turned the handle. I opened the door and I froze. Two guys were kissing. I quickly closed the door. I leaned against the wall to wait for them to come out.

A few minutes later I stared at the two guys wide eyed. Frank and Gerard walked out of the bathroom. I just stood there for a moment trying to understand what just happened. I was happy for them, but confused.

I knew that Frank liked Gerard. He was obvious about that. I never thought that Gerard would like him back. I thought Gerard was straight. And they do have a bit of an age difference.

I decided that my need to pee was more important and walked into the bathroom. I made sure that I locked it before unzipping my fly.

When I returned to our spot, Josh was talking to Hayley. When Josh saw me, he sat up and held his arms out to me. I laughed as he pulled me to sit in his lap.

"You're a dork," I teased. Josh stuck his tongue out at me.

"Wow you guys are sooooo gay!" Hayley said, laughing.

Josh pulled me after him into our room. He laid me down on the bed and hovered over me. Josh placed sloppy kisses on my lips. I smiled into him and wrapped my arms his torso. He moved his mouth down my neck. I felt him tug at the hem of my shirt as he sucked on my collarbone.

"J-josh," I stuttered. He hummed in response and I shook under the sensation. His hands slipped under my shirt. The feeling of him on my bare chest sent shivers down my spine. His lips returned to mine as he slid my shirt up more. It was soon tossed aside. "Josh," I said, trying to make him listen to me.

"Keep saying my name." His voice was rough. And hot. He trailed kisses down my chest and I writhed under his every gentle touch.

"Josh, stop," I mumbled. I looked down at him and he just smirked before kissing my lips again. He placed his hands on my waist and I swallowed hard. I pulled away. "I said stop." My voice was harsher than I'd expected. He looked up at me again but this time with worried eyes. The sudden mood change scared me.

"I'm sorry," he whispered. He sat upright and ran a hand through his hair.

"It's okay, Josh." I sat up too. I grabbed one of his hands in mine. "I love you and I want to do this with you. Believe me. I really want to. But not while you're drunk." He nodded and looked up at me.

"I'm sorry I didn't stop the first time you asked." His words were slurred and lazy. He looked on the verge of tears. I kissed his forehead softly.

"It's alright. You should try to sleep, Josh." He nodded. I slid off my jeans and set them on the ground before slipping under the covers. Josh did the same and wrapped his arms around me. I held onto him and kissed his temple.

"I love you, Josh." When he didn't say it back, I looked down at him. He was already asleep. I just smiled and leaned over to turn off our lamp.
