"Loner, loner. Nobody likes you" Libby as stood next to me repeatedly singing as I sat on my bed in the boys house.
Olly was stood next to her with a evil smirk on his face, hands balled up into tight fists, most likely with my name on them.
Austin, Drew and Levi were also stood around with smirks on their faces.
"You're so pathetic Ember, sitting feeling all sorry for yourself." Nate grinned from the opposite side of me.
I sat hugging my knees up to my chest, tears streaming down my face. I felt so vulnerable with them all crowed around me, like I had no way of escape. They were right I was pathetic, pathetic and weak. Too afraid to defend myself.
"Aww poor little Ember, all alone, with nobody caring about her." Olly smirked.
"Please leave me alone." I tried to say but is came out more as a crackly squeak.
"I wish you weren't my cousin, you're just a freak." Nate commented, walking over to the other boys, who were all stood towering over me.
Nate then shot me a look as if I was a piece of chewing gum stuck to the bottom of his shoe before he walked out of the door, followed by the other three, who smirked as they went.
Olly came closer, his knuckles turning a red colour.
I backed off of the bed and cowered in the very corner of the room, him towering above me, fists raised.
Libby was standing behind him, laughing evilly whilst still singing her horrid song.
I closed my eyes tightly and waited for the impact of Olly's fist connecting with my head.
I bolted up right out of my nightmare. Covered in a cold sweat with tears streaming down my cheeks.
I jumped seeing a dark figure stood at the side of my bed. Shuffling my body up against the far side of the headboard, remembering the dream I had just woken up from.
I shook in my spot breathing heavily with fear as the figure reached for the small lamp next to the bed.
"Hey, hey it's ok, it's me Levi." He said as the light flicked on, lighting up a small area of the room with a dim light.
I stayed where I was, just looking at him, shaking and crying.
"Hey, don't worry, you're ok, you're safe." He said looking concerned but also wearing a friendly smile as he climbed onto the side of the bed, slowly shuffling over to me and wrapping his arms around my shaking figure.
My body stiffened for a moment before relaxing again. I didn't care if I didn't fully trust him at that moment, I just needed someone to comfort me. I was afraid of being alone.
"Bad dream?" He asked.
I looked up at him again and slowly nodded.
"Do you want me to go get Nate?" He then asked.
I shook my head again.
"I don't want to worry him." I said snuffled.
Levi nodded and smiled softly.
I was still shaking and tears were still running down my cheeks.
"You wanna talk about it? It could make you feel better." He said softly, gently hugging me like I was a small child.
I shook my head, not wanting to have to relive the nightmare.
I think he understood how I felt as he stayed leant against the headboard hugging me at his side, trying his best to calm me down.
