Chapter 18 - I'll Tell You All About It When I See You Again

It's been a long day, Without you my friend

And I'll tell you all about it when I see you again

I walked through the corridors of collage humming along to the Charlie Puth song coming through my headphones, avoiding eye contact with everyone possible.

It was one of the ways I could completely zone out from everything around me and get through the day.

I wandered into my English class a few minutes before the rest of the students came in. Allowing me to guarantee my back corner seat.

As the others began to flood in I took out my headphones placing them into my backpack and putting my iPod into my pocket.

"Have you heard about the band supporting The Vamps on tour?" One of the girls from my class spoke excitedly as she and her two friends took the seats in front of me.

"The band they signed to their new record label?"

"Their American, called The Tide I think."

My head went up at the sound of their band name.

"Have you guys seen them?"

"Here watch this, its one of their original songs"

And this is our acoustic version of our original song Falling In Love Tonight.

"What's he called, the guitar player, he looks hot."

"I think his name is Drew, Drew Dirksen"

"I think I like the drummer, Nate Parker he's called isn't it"

Slightly odd hearing them talk about my cousin and call him hot, not that they know his my cousin I thought as their song began to play.

The sound of their song came out of the phone the three of them were gathered around.

Silently I sang along in my head, smiling to myself as I heard their voices.

"Hey Ember" I rolled my eyes at Ryan's voice as I heard him sit down in the chair besides me.

Why did he decide to sit there of all the places.

"Don't be rude" He then said.

"Hi" I spoke looking at him quickly before turning back to the front.

"That's better" He said before turning his attention to the group of girls in front of me.

"Hey girls what you watching?" He asked them.

"This super hot American band called The Tide who are supporting The Vamps on tour" One of them replied turning their head to look at him.

"The Tide huh" He responded, glancing at me, who luckily had chosen not to wear the hoodie with their logo on it today.

"Yep that's it" She replied smiling wildly at him and he combed his head with his hand.

Seriously how can people like Ryan, he's so full of himself it's untrue.

"I could have sworn I saw someone wearing a hoodie with The Tide written on it the other day" He then said looking over at me for a second time.
