"Riker, cut it out!"

"Wahhhh! I don't wanna dye my hair again!"

"Those highlights make you look like a weeaboo!"

"Maybe I wanna be a weeaboo!"

I sighed and gave up, letting him scamper freely away from me, running over to the couch and laying on it. I rubbed my eyes, yawning. It was 6AM, and time to get ready for school. I had to make sure that Riker would at least pass off as a human being, and the highlights made him stand out, even more so than his ears and tail.

"I have no idea how you think this is going to work Riker. You're just going to attract attention with those ears." I told him, walking back into my room. I threw the hair dye on the ground, tossing it away from me. I had to get dressed, and I didn't have time for his games!

*RIKERS POV*

I watched as (y/n) slipped away to her room, then reached under the couch, pulling out the bag I had skillfully hidden underneath the couch. While she was distracted here watching Game Theory and playing Sister Location, I had gone out and bought myself clothes that would help me blend in. I stared down at the clothes.

Perfect.

I quickly slid off my shorts, putting on the jeans and the beanie just as she came back, her eyes half-lidded and heavy looking as she made her way to the kitchen. She then walked backwards, her eyes wide with shock.

"Ta-da!!! Whaddya think?" I said, grinning. She just stood there, completely amazed. I loved that look in her (e/c) eyes, I should surprise her more often~!

"Where did you get the money for those from?" She asked.

"Remember the old cat lady I stayed with? Maxed out her credit cards." I said. "It's not like she needed them anymore, so I put them to good use~"

"That beanie makes you look so...human..." (Y/n) said, thinking out loud.

"I know, isn't it great?" I said happily. "Go back into your room and get ready for the day, I'll make you breakfast."

"Umm...Riker, are you sure you know how?" She asked me, tilting her head.

"I'm half cat, not an idiot. I think I can figure it out." I told her confidently. She shrugged her shoulders and went back to her room, humming the game theory theme to herself.

**TIME SKIP**

*~POV SWITCH~* Even after Riker's delicious breakfast, he still found the time to make me a bento for the day. I didn't have the chance to look at it, but I'm sure it's something adorable, knowing him. Right now, he was just holding my hand, swinging it back and forth as he rambled on about things around him.
