[AUTHOR'S NOTE]
Have I ever mentioned how much I love hypnotic-sounding music? Especially like, the mix of the bass guitar and drums here, and then Gakupo's deep voice? That yandere bastard. I highly suggest listening to the audio here...love this song, and all the Vocaloid readers I'm sure will have an appreciation for it. Just listen to the sweet deep nectar of that voice and bass...wow, it just got really hot in here...

ANYWHO, we're less than 1k likes away from another lemon, sooooo keep 'em coming! Next one's gonna be for Kyren.

UPDATE: Did it seem like it's a bit unfinished at first? You're not wrong. Wattpad is acting like a dirty whore and publishing unfinished drafts and not the full story. Makes me want to move back to deviantART sometimes...anyway, I'll get down to fixing it, sorry folks!

I woke up peacefully, glancing around the room. I spotted Arran, sitting at a desk on his computer. He was mumbling something to himself, his fingers never ceasing on the keyboard. He had multiple tabs open at once, but the connection was surprisingly fast.

"Arran?" I asked, trying to peer over his shoulder.

"Stay there. I'm just...doing research. Would you happen to know where Mika spends her free time?" He asked, turning back to me. I rubbed my head, trying to think. Now that I thought of it, she really was vague about what she did. Still...he must be on edge from Johnny. I should play it cool; he still doesn't know that I see her every night. He didn't even know about the app.

"She never really gives specifics about whatever she's doing. Mika's always been vague about what she does. She always found me instead of me finding her." I said, trying to think.

"No social media accounts, except for a Twitter and Tumblr page full of Vocaloid and memes..." He said, fiddling with his hair. "She does have a way with covering her tracks. I'd expect that from a hired gun after all."

"Why are you so concerned with her anyway?" I asked, standing up. He quickly closed his computer and it disappeared in a cloud of darkness. Arran sighed loudly.

"Abbadon held an interest in you, but it was clear and defined." Arran pointed out. "He chased after you for carnal pleasure. But for an Oracle, even a filthy misplaced hybrid, to suddenly take interest in you..."

"What makes her a hybrid? She looks just like you." I asked. I wanted answers out of him, but not obvious enough to think I was prying. He was silent for a moment, then he began to rap his nails against the desk.

"She has no place. Has no home. Her life is a stain on both of the communities of her origin." He explained. "Oracles despise both her mother and Mika. To her father's family...well, she doesn't exist, and they want to keep it that way." He stood and turned to me.

"I do not wish to talk of the wretched whore any longer. Please, let's have something to eat and we can discuss lighter matters. I can deal with Hawthorne on my own." He said, resting his hand on my shoulder. "Please (Name)...in the meantime, I'll have to find a new servant, someone to serve us before your life eternal." I reluctantly nodded, understanding what he meant. He was looking for a replacement Johnny. I didn't know him very well beside him being an awkward classmate, but he was still a person, a person who had lost their life because of Arran's affection for me. Admittedly, I was surprised I had managed to keep my cool during all of this. If I hadn't, who knows what Arran would have done to me? He smiled and nodded.

"Of course. Now then, I'll get together some tea and breakfast. I've brought some lovely books to read while I cook; reading is my favorite pastime you know." Arran said. He left the room, humming a tune to himself that sounded somewhat familiar. Damn, I wish I could have seen what was inside of that laptop. Still, Mika had already told me what she wanted with me. She wanted to watch; "let the pieces fall where they may". If anything went wrong. I peered out into the hallway, not seeing or hearing a trace from him. I sighed. So much for breakfast.
