"Sooooo should I wear Bring Me The Horizon or Korn?""I care very little."
"Hm. Converses or Vans?"
"I couldn't care less Johnny."
"Awww c'mon Arran, work with me here!"
He was laying on my bed, looking at the homes in my area to choose from. I didn't know how he could afford it, but hey, demon lords had to have some money, right? I was writing in a composition notebook, describing different ways I could get enough souls to finish up the deal. It was Friday morning, and I wanted to get the ball rolling on this deal as soon as possible. I wanted (y/n) to love me so badly, I would risk everything for it.
"You could save time and just go to a graveyard to collect souls that roam there." Arran suggested.
"Nah, that's too easy! There's no fun in that!" I told him happily. "I could throw a huge party and drown everyone like they drowned me!"
"That's a bit complex. Far less stealthier than one would deem necessary to collect so many souls." Arran said. "Maybe it could be the type of death where you could drink the proverbial Kool-Aid."
"That's so played out. I want it to be something special, something that will be worth remembering." I said, looking over at him.
"I'm not doing it. All that is worth something to me you've given; your immortal soul, your heart, your memories, your conscience. All mine. Therefore, you have nothing left to offer."
"That reminds me, isn't it kind of weird how even if I'm breathing and my blood is flowing and there's a pulse, there's no heart?" I asked. "That's actually kind of cool though." He rolled his eyes and stared at the laptop screen. "The house next door to this apartment complex. What's it like?"
"I don't know, I've never been inside. Hey, so if I ripped out a heart and then did the sacrifice, would that count?" I asked curiously.
"I can't see why not." Arran said, bored. He stood and a shadow door appeared in my wall.
"I'll be off then. If you need me, you know how to find me." Arran said. With a wave of his hand, the door opened and he walked through it.
"Nice chat buddy! See ya later!" I called after him. He slammed the door behind him and I flopped onto my bed, hanging upside down. I reached underneath and pulled out a shoebox full of (y/n)'s things and items she had come in contact with. I had her yearbook photo on its lid, her adorable smile making me blush.
"If only you knew how I felt about you, my precious little (y/n)-chan!" I said, hugging the photo. "I think I know exactly what I should do. Oh, thank you for inspiring me~!" I rolled off of the bed and slid off my pajama shirt, slipping on my Korn shirt and looking in the mirror, eying the multiple photos of (y/n) I had pinned up around my reflection.
"Well good morning my lovelies~! I haven't seen such beautiful women in a lifetime! Today I'll begin to make you mine, but you'll have to forgive me for having to spend time with that temptress. I'm only taking her heart to get yours, my one and only!"
**TIME SKIP, BEGINNING OF SCHOOL**
"Tutoring? With you?!" Mizune said excitedly. Her pink pigtails swayed with her every movement, and I stared at her blankly. It seemed like the easiest way to get her to come over without some type of sexual innuendo involved, but I'm sure she'd find a way.
"Mr. Izuki is offering extra credit for every student that I tutor. You're failing. I'm close. Help me help you." I said bluntly.
"Of course, where should we meet up? My place, your place?" She asked. "I live next to that apartment complex that you live in."
