[YEAH, SUPER LONG FUCKIN CHAPTER BECAUSE EVERYONE LOVES STRYKER]

"I had actually promised Stryker that I would do...whatever he plans on doing...with him tonight. It's probably illegal." I told them. "Do you think I could finish the Gyoza before I leave Katsu-kun?" He shrugged, smiling contentedly. I remember when I used to be afraid of demonic smiles; I guess I had gotten used to them over time.

"I suppose it'll be either you or Mika. It's very strange; I like cooking, but I really don't eat a lot. At the very least, I know you'll appreciate the flavor of the dish instead of just stuffing it down your throat." Katsu said, glaring at his partner. She was reaching behind her desk, fishing around for something.

"If you're looking for your drugs, Eyo wanted a few grams for himself." He told her. She sighed.

"For your information, I was getting my sweet stash. Everything sugary and sweet for when I get the munchies...wait." Mika said. She dug around hurriedly as I plopped another Gyoza into my mouth. What was bothering her now? It wasn't the drugs, she would have reacted to that by now.

"I can't find my brownies! What the hell?! They were triple chocolate!" She screamed, falling behind her desk. "I had them stashed behind all my weapons! Who would have the balls to dig behind a collection of Demon Weapons..." She popped up again, holding a shotgun and cocking it angrily.

"(Name), I think it's time you leave." Katsu suggested. "If you'd excuse me, I have to gather the cleaning supplies it will take to clean up the blood that Mika's about to spill."

...

"Hey, Suburbia. Wake up."

I opened my eyes, seeing Roy stand over me with an unlit cigarette dangling from his mouth. He was scratching his head. Yep, he was just as scraggly as before, if not more. His messy black and blue seemed more disorganized than normal, if that was at all possible.

"Mmmm, let me sleep." I groaned, closing my eyes. I shifted slightly trying to get comfortable again. He prodded my side, despite me trying to bat his hand away.

"Um, fuck no. It's Halloween, we have to do something." Roy said sitting next to me. "Considering I'm one TP away from going to jail, how about we do something legal?"

"I'm too old for trick-or-treating." I told him. "And that's pretty tame for you. What, too chicken to get away with stealing from children?" He scoffed.

"I can loot my own candy. Why don't we just watch a bunch of bad scary movies or something? Order a pizza?" Roy suggested. "Also, I made a Halloween-themed breakfast." I opened my eyes and looked up at him for a second.

"Can we watch The Nightmare Before Christmas?" I asked. "And Corpse Bride? And—"

"Yes (Name), any other Tim Burton movie you want. But we watch at least one Nightmare on Elm Street movie, got that?" He told me. I nodded, closing my eyes again. Before I could even get comfortable, he picked me up and slung me over his shoulder, carrying me out of my room.

"Yeah, you're going to have enough of trying to ignore me. If I take the time to make breakfast, you should be more grateful, not lay in bed all fucking day. At least I get up to smoke." Roy said. He carried me down the stairs and into the kitchen putting me down at the table as he slid a fat stack of pancakes with Jack Skellington's face on it.

"You a fan of Tim Burton too?" I asked, watching him as he poured himself a cup of coffee. I shivered as I saw him drink it black. I don't know how he does it, I think I put more sugar in my coffee than coffee. He shrugged idly.
