(ARRAN'S POV)

Everything.
I could hide everything about my true demonic nature.
Except my teeth.
It's a blessing and a curse.

The most plausible disguise was a surgery mask, since I could use the excuse that I didn't want to contract a disease or I had one myself.

Of course, simplistic females flocked around me regardless, pleading me to take it off. Some tried to lift it themselves and I had to wear an extra mask in case any of them got any bolder. They surrounded me at lunch, hoping to get a glance at what I had underneath the mask.

I don't need to eat.
So I just leave and go to the library.

That's when I saw her.

She hated public places, as did I. Every lunch she snuck off into the library and found a book to read, most of them mangas. She was intelligent and kind, unlike the other girls...which is why I hated them in the first place. They were so judgmental all the time, it made me sick. They only saw a false human body. If they were able to really see what I was hiding...they would scream and run like the fake bitches they are.

So here I am. Slipping off to the library again, trying to find her in that same spot again. Mentally, I slapped myself. Being with a human was taboo and explicitly forbidden in Hell...so why did I go out of my way for her? I turned a corner and my eyes narrowed.

She was standing with some boy. Brown hair and eyes. Demonic claws dug into the bookshelf. What was he doing with MY queen?! (y/n) wasn't to be tainted by human filth.

"C'mon (y/n), it'll be fun!"

"Wes, I'm not going to your stupid party."

"Why not? Everyone wants to come to it! There's going to be booze, weed-"

"Which is why I don't want to go. While you're flipping burgers at McDonald's for the rest of you life, I have career plans."

"Don't be such a prude!"

I growled and hid my claws inside of my pockets going up to the two.

"Arran!" Wes began. "Hey bro, do you want to come to m-"

"I'd rather die." I spat. "(Y/n) dear, is this lower life form bothering you?"

"I'm fine...thanks Arran." She said softly. "I just don't like parties, that's all." She held a Black Butler manga in her arms. I laughed a bit, startling her.

"Then why don't you come over to my home after school? We could study for that history test on Friday."

YOU FOOL! WE DON'T HAVE A MORTAL HOME, WE RESIDE IN HELL? DID YOU REALLY BELIEVE SHE WOULDN'T MIND TRAVERSING DIMENSIONS TO VISIT YOU?!

It mattered little. She was coming whether she liked it or not.

"That sounds nice. Thanks for the invite Arran." She said. I clapped my hands together, smiling under my mask.

"Wonderful! I'll see you after school then. I'll walk with you." I said. She bowed respectfully and left Wes and I alone together. He pinned me against the wall and growled in my face. I chuckled and stared at him.

"Who do you think you are, jackass? I was inviting her to my party! She was going to be my date!" Wes shouted at me.

"That's funny." I said. "You keep using 'my', when (y/n) is mine. But I don't blame you. All you humans have this tendency to want to claim things that's not yours. Land. Lives. Animals. Always thinking that you're at the top of the proverbial 'food chain'." I snapped my fingers and hands made of darkness shot up from the floor and grasped onto his ankles. A small portal to Hell opened up in front of him, more specifically the Flesh Pits where every damned soul would rot for eternity. Another hand rose to cover his mouth, the other shadows combining to form a seat for me.

"Listen, Wes, is it?" I said, sitting down and taking off my masks and revealing my blood-stained teeth. They were something that came out of the worst of nightmares, sharper than any blade and truly horrific. I crossed my legs and rested my arms on the armrests next to me. Wes thrashed around with everything in him, but inevitably he was much weaker than my magic.

"I think you humans are a burden on Earth and near insufferable to deal with, especially those with an inexplicable sense of superiority towards others. It would be funny if it wasn't simply irritating." I told him. "But pride is a vice and I won't allow myself to succumb to your stupid behaviors. It's why I'm feeling especially generous today." I sat up and flashed a grin at him.

"Well then. How would you like to die? And I'm sorry, but old age won't be plausible." I said. I swayed my hand and moved the shadows covering his mouth away.

"You're fucking insane man! Just what are you?!" Wes shouted. I wagged my finger.

"Where's your inside voice?" I asked dryly. "This is a library. Besides, it's rather strange to be screaming at nothing."

"What the hell are you talking about?" Wes growled at me. I stood from my chair, the shadows dissipating as I folded my arms.

"Imagine this if you would: right now, I'm broadcasting an image of myself out in the courtyard talking with the assistant principal about running for student body president. You're just leaning against this bookshelf and yelling at air to everyone else." I said. "You see, as a demon lord and a possible heir to Mephistopheles, I don't like to get my hands dirty while working. Killing you myself would be a filthy task, and it would probably blow my cover. So instead, I'll let you kill yourself in a more figurative sense. You'll most likely tell everyone that I was in here, threatening you and that there's a monster behind the mask soon as I let you go."

"And if I do?" Wes growled. I smirked and tapped my temple.

"No one would believe you. You'll be like the conspiracy theorist everyone believes should seek medical help." I explained. "I'll stay here and make all of the students mindless slaves to my queen (y/n) in Hell." I closed the portal and put my masks back on, folding my arms.

"Come after me and it'll be social suicide, Mr. Wes." I said, releasing him. "Come after (y/n)...and well, I'll make that suicide literal." I slipped out of the library unnoticed by anyone, finding my faux self waiting for me.

"You know, he's about to summon us." It said, a bored look in its eyes.

"Johnny?" I asked. "I'll save the little pain the trouble. Then we'll walk (y/n) home."

"You're forgetting that we don't have one." It said bluntly. I growled and bit at my thumbnail.

"Handle it then. I need to find my queen." I told it.

Okay, Imma give a quick breakdown of how this is going to work:

You liked this chapter? COOL! You like Arran? EVEN BETTER! Wanna know why? I'll create chapters based upon which yandere boy you like the best. Once the initial five are done, further posting is all in your hands.
