Amnesia

Chapter 29

Aurora's POV

When I snap back into reality. I don't remember the woman who I dreamt. I was on the grass and I called her 'Granny'. Was she really my grandmother? And who is James? Why couldn't I remember anything?

I sit up. I couldn't stand the frustration that bulit inside me so I rang the bell. That's when all te nurses and doctors come surrounding my bed and started to open their eyes widely as if they just seen a ghost.

I'm not.

"What is happening?! " I heard some guys screaming from outside of the room and tempting to go inside but the nurse hold him back.

Gee, quiet please. I'm having some diplomatic issue with myself.

One of the man doctors approach me with twisted face as he didn't believe that I'm awake. Or something I couldn't explain.

"What time is it now? " I ask. Tempting to do something cheerful before they started to ask me question as if I'm in the interrogation room.

"8:58 a. m. " the man doctor said.

"Oh, good then. Good morning!" I give my pale smile to them and some of the nurses started to smile back at me.

Then, the man doctor started ask me question which I though he was going to ask 'Are you okay? How do you feel? ' but instead he asks me.

"Do you remember me?"

I stare at his facial. He does look like someone I might know. He looks a little bit older hut still masculine. If he's around my age, I'd say he's handsome.

If he had a son, he must be gorgeous. Hold that thought.

I mean, drop it.

I shake my head and give him a thoughtful smile. I may have seen him on the streets or whatsoever but know I really don't know him.

"Okay, " he breathes and smile to me. "My name is Dr David Cammison. "

I replied 'oh' and smile. "My name is — um, I don't remember my name. "

All the nurses and doctors shock except for Dr. David. He smiles to me and say "it's okay. You're gonna remember your name in no time. Now, I want you to rest a little bit before we check on you. Would you lie down, dear? "

I lied down and stare at the ceiling.

Why I can't remember my name?

Frustrated, I close my eyes and try to calm myself down. But then, someone come in my room and look at me.

Well, at least he's gorgeous.

His blood shot eyes are covers by his smooth facial. He wears dark sweater and grey sweat pants. But still, he looks nice in it.

When he stare at me quite a long time, I begin to feel uncomfortable. He started to step forward but stop when I said,

"Who are you? "

He looked shocked. Well maybe because he might expect I know him based on his expression when he came in my room. His face looked much more relieved than the face he's doing now.

"I'm—" he blinks his gorgeous eyes. I need to contain myself. "James. "

Wait, James?

The one in my dream or the one in my dream?

"James? Oh hi. My name's Aurora. "

Aurora. Aurora. Aurora. Wait— I remember my name! My God!

"I remember my name! Thank God! " I exclaim and jump out from my bed.

I didn't know what am I doing but the last thing that I know, I end up having James in my arms. Hugging me tightly and as he tighten his arms around mine, I smile widely.

But then, James started to sob softly. I let go the hug and smile sadly to him.

"Why you're crying? You're not happy I remember my name? " I said in a kid voice just to tease him. To make him feel a little better. I don't know why but I feel like I've been crying a lot before and hate the feeling that people are crying or sad about something.

There's always something that can cheer you up. You just gotta find it.

James looks at me in the eyes and I totally fangirl about it. He looks so hot.

"No, of course I'm happy. I'm extremely happy. Are you alright? " he smile gorgeously to me and I smile idiotically.

"I am alright. " I blush.

The hell I am blushing!

Then, Cassie came in the room looking at me. Wide eyes and blood shot eyes.

Is today is a moarn day or everyone just cry?

"Cassie! " I let go of James' hands and hug her.

Both of them looked shock. I don't know why.

"You know me? " Cassie said.

"What do you mean I know you? Of course I know you. You're my best friend! " I smile and hug her shoulder. I smile at James and he shoot me a loving smile. I totally have crush on this guys.

Uhm, delete.

Cassie laughs and hugs me tightly. I couldn't breath so I tap her back and said 'let me go!' in a suffocating way.

"How do you know me? " she asks while wiping some of her tears that started to roll down again.

"What the hell are you talking about? I don't know. You're the one who talk to me when it's the first day of school, remember? "

She smiles and nod.

"Are you amnesia? " I continue while chuckling. She hug me again and shake her head.

"I miss you, welcome back. " she muffle.

"Miss you more. What happened to me? "

"You just had an accident. But, you're fine now. " James point.

"Oh, I guess that's the answer why my head is wrapped. " I touch the bandage that wrapped my head and laugh.

Both of them laugh too.

When we stop laughing, I started to mumbled something.

"Oh yeah, James. " I said in almost whispering voice.

"Yeah? " he said.

"Do I know you? "

Cassie looked at him and hoping him to day something.

James look at my boring chocolate eyes and hold my hands.

YEAP, HE TOTALLY HOLD MY HANDS.

"No, you don't. " He said and Cassie shrugs.
