Chapter 31

Max's POV

My family was just hanging out in the living room. It's been four days since my sister been around and honestly, I miss seeing her pale cutie face.

I barely know her due to mom's revenge. She blames her on Granny's death and I personally don't know what to do at that time.

I was going to have a good brother and sister relationship with her when mom decided to cut it off. Nowadays, mom always complain about how to get our family relationship bond again.

Well, we're the one who avoided her, right?

Aurora came back home around five and her best friend after James, I suppose, Cassie explained to us why she didn't got home past few days.

She's having amnesia and the whole family know this is a good chance to redeem what should be redeem in the past.

We have to repair this relationship in order to make it work. And of course, who doesn't love their sister?

When we're having a little chat in the living room about accident and amnesia thing. I was flushed with relieve when I knew it was only retrograde. Temporarily amnesia and not permanent.

Part of me wishing it should be permanent because I don't want my sister to remember anything bad about what mom had done to her.

But, part of me was relieved because I don't want her to completely forgot about everything because that going to be chaos, right?

She sat beside me and I was happy to have her warmth right next to me. I never thought I'd feel these feelings but yeah, I did.
I have another younger sister who I adore but Aurora is different. She's matured and almost the same age with me. She can understand me I can see that.

After the good chat with Cassie, she hugged everyone in the house and drove away.

Roe headed upstairs to change to her PJ's or maybe get ready to bed.

By the time she closed her door, mom stares at us.

"This time, we're gonna do it right. I don't want to lose her again, " she breathes. "I want her to know how much we love her. "

I'm not stunned by mom's words but it kinda encourage me to make up with my sister.

So, one by one, each of the family members went into Roe's room and gave her a night kiss or sweet talk. We didn't do it to be fake. But, we want to repair this relationship and this is the only way.

We don't know how to confront her when she remembered everything. Everything that we've done and say to her. I know people will say just forgive and forget and I know she can forgive.

But she'll never forget, will she?

So I go upstairs and close the door behind me.

"I'm sorry," I start. "I love you so much and I swear I'll take care of you." I breath. "I'll do the thing that I supposed to do before. Goodnight, sis. "

Then I go out from te room and lock myself in my room.

I started to call Tate, my girlfriend to update this exciting news.

I know this time, my sister and I will be so much closer than before and I'll protect her.

Fucking cheesy but I fucking don't care.

And I'll punch anyone who hurts her. With my bare hands.
