Chapter 2 ~ Gym Class

Next class was gym, Aphmau's favorite class (Note the sarcasm) she walked to where the doors to the gym was visible and she stopped when she saw a group of "Cool kids" walk up to the doors, there were a few girls (That had WAYY to much makeup on) and a few guys (That looked like jocks) But one guy in particular caught her attention, he had black hair, like her, and a hoodie that was open, (and not over is head) he had a white shirt on underneath, and he had black eyes. Why did he catch Aphmau's attention? No one knows. He just stood out more, and he wasn't talking to anyone in the group, he looked like he was thinking about something.

The bell rung, Aphmau hurried inside and changed into the gym uniform. She quickly took her uniform to the bathroom to change she took off her hoodie and put the uniform on, then, she put the hoodie back on over the uniform, hey, there was no rules saying you couldn't do it. She tucked in her ears and tail, and walked out into the gym.

"All right students! Today we are going to play dodgeball, if you didn't hear the announcement I made yesterday." Of course Aphmau wasn't there yesterday so there was no way to prepare. And not to mention the teacher didn't even acknowledge Aphmau. "Now I'm going to put you in teams, so lets begin!" The teacher assigned the groups, and the group of students got less and less until it was just three left, which was Aphmau that guy that Aphmau saw in the group earlier and a girl that was also in the group.

"Hm... Aaron you go to that group." The teacher pointed to a group that was in the corner of the gym that had one other member from the group. When Aaron walked over to the group that other girl that was left followed him. "Excuse me miss? Where are you going?" The teacher stopped her.

"I'm going with Aaron" She smiled.

"I don't think so, who assigned you to that group?" The teacher said smartly.

"Um... Myself? I think I deserve to be in a group with my boyfriend!" She snapped back.

"Well, to bad you just lost your privilege to go over there, Hm.. Go with that group" He pointed to a group full of 'nerds'

"WHAT?! NO!" She yelled.

"Lily! Do as I say or your going to detention!" He said

"Ugh.. Fine, I'm not doing this because I'm scared of detention." She rolled her eyes and walked to the group she was assigned.

"Wait.. Who are you?" The teacher finally noticed Aphmau.

"I'm new here, I'm Aphmau" She said and the teacher looked over his list.

"Ah, here you are! Well I'm Mr. Blacker, nice to have you here!" He smiled. "Do you mind taking off that hood?"

"Um... I would prefer it on." Aphmau smiled nervously.

"Alright, whatever you want! You can go over to that team." He pointed to were Aaron was.

Aphmau nodded and walked over, she glanced over at Lilly and she gave Aphmau the evil eye. Aphmau just continued walking.

The teams went against each other and eventually it was against Aphmau's team and Lilly's team. When they started it seemed like Lilly was purposefully aiming at Aphmau, Aaron seemed to catch on and started throwing the ball at Lilly. the ball almost hit her.

"Ah! Aaron! Why did you do that?!" Lilly complained.

Aaron just shrugged and continued to throw at her.

Aphmau's hoodie started to fall off her head, Aaron looked over at her and saw... Something purple. He tried to look closer but he got cut off by a ball hitting his side.

"Aaron! You're out! Mr. Blacker yelled. Aphmau looked over at Aaron and looked up and noticed her hood and quickly pulled it back over her head. Lilly threw the ball at Aphmau but she quickly dodged it. (At this point only Aphmau and Lilly were left on either teams) It took a few tries to get her out, but Aphmau threw the last ball and got her out.

"WHAT?! That's not fair! If Aaron was on my team I would've done better!" Lilly pounted and stomped off to the sides. Aphmau's team came out to congratulate her.

Aphmau met up with Katelyn, they agreed first period that they would meet up after second period, and talk a bit. It wasn't long until some of Katelyn's friends came up to her and started talking to Aphmau. She meet girls named, Nicole, Lucinda, Cadenza, Teony, and some guys named, Laurance, Dante, Garroth, Travis, Zane and Vylad, and supposedly Garroth, Vylad and Zane were all brothers in different grade levels.

Aphmau continued the day walking from class-to-class learning boring stuff, she saw the group that were at gym class a few times and saw Lilly giving her the evil eye over and over again. But besides that she continued to talked to her friends.

What if Aphmau's new friends knew her secret? Would they still talk to her? Or would they just throw her out and turn her in like everyone else before?
