Chapter 5

As Greyson and I walked through the halls of school together, everyone was staring. We heard murmurs of "New kid." "The new guy." and "Who's that?" I lead Greyson toward's Zac and Cam. They said nothing. "Hey guys." I said. "Meet my long lost best friend, sorta. Greyson." They both faced him. "Hey guys nice meeting you." Greyson said.

I got a bit nervous about what Cam and Zac would think about him. I don't want all my best friends hating one another. Then Cam stepped in front of Zac and held out her hand. "Hello Greyson I'm Cameron. But call me Cam or Cammie." She winked at him. I smiled. Now I have to see what Zac thinks about him. "Whaddup bro." He said holding his fist out. I let a breath out. Okay. They like each other. Perfect.

Greyson was a couple feet away with some other guys Zac was introducing. As Cam and I were talking, our good friend Natalia came up. "Omg (Name) is that new guy your best friend? Is he...G? The one from kindergarten?" I nodded. "Yepp" I said popping the "P". She looked at Greyson. "He's hot." I shared a look with Cam. "What do you think about him?" I shrugged uncertainly. "He's not...Ugly, I guess." Then Cam said "You like him." I looked at her. "Saying a guy isn't ugly is girl language for "I think he's cute but I don't want to make it obvious that I have a crush on him."" I had no response to that. It might be a possibility that I like him that way. But I'm obviously not going to tell him or Zac about it.

"(Name), does he...have a girlfriend?" Natalia asked. I looked around. There were girls staring at him. His first day of school and girls are already crushing on him. "Uh.." I thought about it. "A guy like him would probably have one." "He is pretty cute." Cam admitted. "I'd totally date him." "Well.." Natalia smirked. "Lets find out then." Oh no. "Natalia wait--" "Hey Greyson!!" I turned around and grabbed a water bottle and drank it so Greyson didn't think I was part of being curious too. But I secretly did want to know if he had one. "Greyson do you have a girlfriend?" Natalia ask. I could see all the guys and girls waiting for his answer. I kept drinking my water. "Nope. I'm single...And ready to mingle..." He winked. I did a spit take with my water and burst out laughing. Even Greyson and his new friends were cracking up. "Ew (Name)!!" Cam punched my arm giggling. "Omg he winked at me!!" Natalia shrieked.

After class we met up again. "Good day so far Greyson?" Zac asked. "Yeah this school is pretty awesome." "I'm glad your here Greyson. It's not that awesome being with girls all the time." Cammie and I pretended to act offended. "I can image it. Lemme guess, they talk about makeup and hair all the time?" Zac nodded. "I object." Cammie said. "We do not talk about hair and makeup...All the time." "Uh huh, sure." Greyson smirked. I just laughed. Life with my friends were the best.

Then Jake walked by saying "Hey (Name), see you Saturday." I gave a slight nod. My friends fell silent. They just looked at me. Cameron acted first. She grabbed my wrist and dragged me into the janitor's closet. Oh great...
