Sagelyn heard a knock at her door, getting up from her spot on her couch to open the door. Simon stood in front of her, watching as she left the door open and walked back to her couch.

Simon sighed, walking in and closing the door behind him. "I'm sorry, love." He told her, seeing her look up at him. "I didn't think about it, and I was having a bad day. I took it out on you, and that was wrong. I'm sorry."

"It's fine." She told him, seeing him sigh again. "It's not a big deal. I've dealt with worse." She told him, seeing his shoulders slump.

He sat down beside her, facing her. "But I don't want you to have to compare me with your exes. I want you to feel safe with me forever, Sagelyn." He told him, seeing her nod. "I don't want you to even think of me and compare me to him." He whispered sadly.

"I don't compare you two." She told him after a minute. "He's nothing compared to you. You're literally everything I've ever wanted." She continued, seeing him smile lightly. "Come kiss me." She smiled, seeing him smile before scooting towards her.
