- 3rd POV -

"I think I like you." Chuuya says.
"I have feelings for you." Dazai says.

"What!?" Both say in unison.

"You like me?!" Dazai and Chuuya say at the same time.

Dazai unlocks and opens the door. "Are you serious?" He says, extremely shocked.

"Y-Yeah. You like me to?!" Chuuya says, just as surprised.

"Y-Yeah." Dazai says.

Both stare at each other with complete shock on their faces.

"I can't believe this." Dazai says. "All this time I thought you despised me."

"I only did that to prove to myself these feelings aren't real. Turns out they are. I'm sorry I was such an ass." Chuuya says.

"What about your girlfriend?"

"She was also to prove to myself what I feel isn't real..."

"I see. Man, what a relief."

"Were you jealous Dazai?" Chuuya says in disbelief.

"Extremely..." Dazai says softly.

"We're such idiots." Chuuya says.

"Yeah." Dazai smiled.

"Well what now?"

"Maybe now you can dump your "girlfriend"." Dazai says with a grin.

"Yeah, I probably should..."

"How long were you with her? An hour? That's gotta be a world record." Dazai says, laughing.

"It was 2 hours!"

Dazai couldn't stop smiling. "This turned out to be a great day."

"I can't believe this is happening." Chuuya says.

Dazai reaches for Chuuya's hand. "Me neither."

Chuuya starts blushing. "Um...I'm a bit new to this... Can you maybe hold off on that till I get more used to this?"

"Oh, uh, yeah sure." Dazai says, taking his hand away from Chuuya's.

"Sorry I just-"

"It's fine." Dazai interrupts.

"I'm off work tomorrow... Do you maybe wanna do something?" Chuuya says.

"Wanna watch movies here?" Dazai suggests. "I've been looking for a movie buddy."

"S-Sure."

"Then it's settled." "Dazai says, grinning.

"Yeah."

Dazai starts walking forward. He reaches for Chuuya's hand. Before he can touch it, Chuuya backs away.

"Gotta go! See you tomorrow!" Chuuya says, running away from Dazai's apartment.

Dazai sighed. He knew Chuuya needed time, but he wanted to touch him so badly.

Because finally, at last, his dream came true.
