Davina's pov
When you're a witch and you're trying to find someone it can be easy but if you don't have anything that belongs to the person you're looking for then you're a hopeless case, for years I've been searching for my dad and uncle Damon the old fashioned way since I can't do a locator spell as I don't have any of their belongings. There was a spark of luck about a year ago I bumped into this woman called Lexi apparently she's my dad's best friend and I told her that I'm his daughter and that I've been looking for him she said she would help me find my dad but then she disappeared and I haven't seen her since. I'm currently at the library doing the best I can to stay out of that hell hole of a orphanage seriously the boss is a strict bitch and all the staff are down right rude and cold and then there's the other children that live there some are right snooty bitches, others are cruel and like to boss around the younger kids and then there's the young children now they are delightful little things while some are shy because of their surroundings and the staff and bigger kids, some have anxiety issues and stay away from everyone else and some are hyper active, I tend to look after the younger children considering the staff don't do a good job of it and the older kids are just awful, I protect the youngsters from the dreadful older kids who like to pick on them speaking of the older kids they try to boss me around but I don't particularly like to take orders from people so I put them in their place and let them know that I'm not someone they can just boss around and pick on because they feel like it or they're bored I am not someones source of entertainment. I sometimes pinch myself to remind myself why on earth did I stick myself in orphanage but then I remember it's because if I didn't it would mean going back to Katherine and there's no way in hell I'm going back to her so that would leave me out on the streets and it's not safe to live on the streets so until I find something on my dad and uncles whereabouts I have to stay put and deal with it.
Chapter ends there, I know it's short and doesn't really have any action but it will soon.
