Davina's pov

I woke up later the next morning, when I got home last night uncle Damon asked me why I was out so late and I simply told him I was at Mystic grill reading and I lost track of time of course that was only half the truth as I really lost track of time from talking to Kol he's a little bit cocky but he's nice to talk too and he made me laugh and forget about what's going on and I know that may seem weird considering​ I've only just met him and I should​ know better than to talk to a stranger right away but I guess I just needed a distraction. Once I've yawned and stretched my arms and legs I get out of bed and take a quick shower then hop out wrapping a towel around my body and head straight into my room and over to my vanity  to dry and brush my hair, once my hair is done I head over to my draws and pick out a matching lace bra and panties and quickly slip them on before going back into my draws to pick out some clothes, I pick out a black cami top and black skinny jeans

Once I'm dressed, I head downstairs and find uncle Damon in the kitchen "good morning Uncle Damon" I say "good morning kiddo" he replies placing a plate of pancakes in front of me "how many times do I have to tell you don't call me kiddo" I say "how many times do I have to tell you I don't care you're still a kid to me" he remarks making me laugh "you're an idiot so where's my dad?" I ask as I put a piece of pancake in my mouth and eat it "he left with Elena 15 minutes ago" he says "oh he didn't wake me up to say he was leaving he always does" I say with a sigh "hey don't worry about it Elena is just worried about Klaus and he wants to keep her calm" he replies "she has friends that can keep her calm too I never get to see my dad anymore because of what's going on" I say "don't be like that Davina your dad loves you he's just trying to make sure Elena is safe and I'm sure once that's happened he'll spend as much time with you as possible" Uncle Damon says trying to cheer me up "I hope so" I mutter uncle Damon opens his mouth to reply but is cut off by my phone buzzing which I immediately pick up and frown as the number says unknown but I reply to it anyway

Unknown number: good morning darling I hope you slept well

Davina: who is this?

My phone pings a few seconds later and I open the text

Unknown number: don't tell me you forgotten me already darling? That hurts it's me Kol you know the most handsome guy you've ever met

I immediately smile at the response and let out a sigh of relief when I know it's not some creepy stalker

Davina: sorry my mind was baffled when I saw it was an unknown number thought you were a creepy stalker

I press send happy with my reply and I change the unknown number part and replace it with Kol

Kol: well I'm the most handsome creepy stalker you'd ever meet

I smirk at his text

Davina: ha ha very funny

Kol: I know I am so what's a pretty little thing like you doing today?

Davina: drowning in despair of this thing called life

Kol: oh I know the feeling love but I'm sure there's something entertaining for you to do

Davina: do you have any suggestions?

Kol: well we could meet up and make out I think that would be very entertaining

I blush at his text and can't help but feel butterflies erupt in my stomach but I shake it off and reply

Davina: as nice and tempting as that sounds I think I'll pass I don't make out with boys I've only just met no matter how good looking they are

Kol: so you admitt I'm handsome and you have a pretty sharp tongue but that's fine I like pretty little things with sharp tongues

I giggle at his response earning weird looks from uncle Damon "who's got you smiling and giggling like a 5 year old?" Uncle Damon asks I stop and glare at him "none of your business" I say "oh but if it's a boy that's got you like that then it is my business" he says I smirk and stick my tongue out at him making him grin and stick his tongue out in response making me laugh before turning my attention back to my phone and reply to Kol

Davina: you're kind of hot but that's all I'll say as for the sharp part oh I can get real sharp but that's only if you get on my bad side

Kol: darling stop with the fiestyness I'm getting a little excited with this conversation it's beginning to get very heated

I blush madly at his response and quickly head up to my so I have privacy

Davina: well I suppose I should stop talking to you then

Kol: I have a better idea why don't we meet up near Mystic grill I'll buy you a drink

Davina: isn't it a little to early for alcohol?

Kol: yes but I'm kind of a rule breaker so I do what I want so how about it?

Davina: sure I'll meet you in half an hour is that okay?

Kol: half an hours perfect darling now if you excuse me I have a little situation to take care of

Davina: good luck big boy

I reply and lock my phone and head to my vanity to put on a little bit of make up then I slip on a pair of socks and my black military boots and throw on my jacket before grabbing my shoulder bag and phone and heading downstairs "I'm going out" I call out to uncle Damon "wait a second where are you going?" He asks "I'm going to the Mystic falls library" I lie knowing if I tell him I'm going to meet a boy who is a vampire he'll lock me in my room for the rest of my life that's how protective my uncle is "how long will you be?" He asks folding his arms "I don't know you know what I'm like when I'm reading" I say "nope I'm not buying it how long will you be gone?" He asks "3 or 4 hours is that what you want to hear" I say "much better now you may go" he says "thank you" I say before heading out the door to meet Kol
