One month later...

No one's pov

Kol and Davina were at their house watching a movie in their bedroom although they weren't really paying any attention to the movie playing on the tv. They were too busy making out Davina was straddling Kol her body pushed up against his as they kissed. Kol slowly pulled the straps of Davina's top down her shoulders. 

While Kol and Davina made out on their bed, their daughter Neveah was sleeping soundly in her room clutching her favourite teddy in her hand. Meanwhile a woman was stood outside the house figuring out how to get in the house and get Davina. The woman was Elizabeth Claire and she was set on going through with her plan of kidnapping her granddaughter to make her daughter and the man who is now her son in law pay for killing her. Elizabeth was going to kidnap Davina and kill her to mock her daughter for not doing the ritual like she was told too almost 20 years ago. Elizabeth chanted and put a invisibility spell her before slowly entering the house through the back door.

Davina pulled away from Kol "did you hear that?" she asked "hear what?" Kol asked as he kissed her neck "never mind I just thought I heard something" she replies before crashing her lips against Kol's indulging in another heated kiss.

The couple both pulled apart when they heard a crash from downstairs. Davina climbed off Kol's lap and he got off the bed "I'll go check it out" Kol said pressing his lips against Davina's forehead. Kol left the bedroom and sped downstairs "hello? who's there?" he called out wondering through the house downstairs trying to find out where the crash came from. Kol frowned as he entered the kitchen and found the back door open which he could've sworn he had locked before he and Davina went upstairs. Kol's eyes suddenly widened "Davina I think someone's in the house. Check on Neveah!" Kol yelled as he shut the door and locked it before scanning around the kitchen before heading into another room.

Davina instantly ran to her daughters room to check on the 1 year old little girl. The young witch sighed in relief as she saw her daughter was safe and sound fast asleep in her crib with no harm done to her. Davina froze as she heard a floorboard creak nearby she turned and looked at the doorway and noticed the magical barrier she put up was pushing something back, preventing something from entering the room that Kol and Davina definitely didn't want getting inside. "Show yourself intruder" Davina demanded and just like that Elizabeth unveiled her invisibility spell revealing herself and smirked at the young witch. "Who the hell are you and why are you in my house?" Davina asked "how rude of you to not know who I am after all I'm the one who gave birth to that dreadful daughter of mine" Elizabeth replied Davina glared at the woman "y-you're my grandmother" she says Elizabeth nodded "that's right now come forward and lets have a chat" she said "no I don't trust you. I've heard the stories you sentenced your own daughter to die in a barbaric sacrifice ritual. What kind of mother allows their child to be sacrificed?" Davina snarls glaring at the woman "I had my reasons just like I have my reasons of seeing you" Elizabeth replied smugly. She held a hand out and with her magic pulled Davina towards her and grabbed her by the throat making a scream escape her mouth.

Kol's head shot up at the sound of Davina's scream and he shot up the stairs and immediately saw Elizabeth standing outside his daughters room and saw she was holding Davina by her throat. Kol growled and sped over, ripping the woman away from Davina and tossing her down the hall. He pulled his girlfriend into his arms and shut his daughters bedroom door knowing things were going to get very messy and he didn't want Neveah to be woken up. 

Elizabeth stood up and glared at the original vampire "of course the parasite boyfriend" she hissed Kol chuckled darkly "oh no love I think you'll find. You're the parasite" he growled pulling Davina to stand behind him. "You have quite the tongue on you. Esther did warn me of that" Elizabeth said "you know my mother?" Kol asked "who do you think brought me back. You see Stefan killed me and your mother brought me back so I can finish what I intended to do" Elizabeth replied "what exactly is it that you intend to do?" the original vampire asked "punish my daughter and her vampire lover by taking the thing they love most. Their daughter" Elizabeth replied smirking as a few witches appeared behind Davina and grabbed her. "Get off her!" he yelled glaring at the witches "the girl is an abomination as is your child that sleeps soundly in that room but I shall leave her be. Davina on the other hand needs to die" Elizabeth said "you lay a single finger on her and I'll kill you all!" Kol growled Elizabeth chanted at Kol bringing him to his knees "ahhh!" he yelled holding his head in pain.

"Why are you doing this?" Davina asked winching in pain as one of the witches holding her pulled at her hair "because I can" Elizabeth replied "there has to be a reason as to why you ended up being this cruel" Davina said "I ended up like this because this world isn't fare. I learned that when I was just 15 after I gave birth to my first child, my son" Elizabeth said Davina's eyes widen. "You had another child before my mom and aunt?" the young witch asked "I did but I wasn't in a stable relationship. I got pregnant after a one night stand with a man I loved who was a vampire" Elizabeth revealed "you had a child with a vampire too?" Davina asked Elizabeth nodded "I was the first to realize that us Claire witches possess a very special gift. A fertility gift that allows us to birth children of vampires and that's why Marnie got pregnant with you after her night with Stefan and it's why you got pregnant with this parasite's child" Elizabeth sneered at Kol who glared at her. "I loved my son I wanted to keep him but the witch community saw him as an abomination so they took him from me and they killed him and made me watch" Elizabeth said her eyes got a little teary as she mentioned her son's death. "For a while I hated the witches, I wanted them to suffer in anyway possible until I realized that what happened was for the best. I suddenly understood that my son was not meant to live and his death was in mercy so he wouldn't grow to know the abomination he was. You and your little girl are unnatural Davina and I need to wipe you out but I'll leave the child she seems like such a sweet child so I'll let her live but I'll come back for her when she's older and I'll slit her throat" Elizabeth said Davina screamed so loud that the witches who had hold of her let go to hold their heads as blood drew from their ears and noses. The witches fell to the floor lifeless as their insides boiled to nothing, Elizabeth looked at the young witch in shock "you will not lay a hand on my daughter! I will protect her from evil!" Davina yelled Kol took that chance when Elizabeth was caught off guard to catch her and plunge his hand through her chest and pulling her heart out but just before he pulled her heart out Elizabeth had taken out a knife and launched it at Davina. The knife hit Davina in the chest piercing her heart "NO!" Kol bellowed speeding over to his girlfriend as she started falling to the floor. Kol caught her in his arms and kneeled down cradling her to his chest "D-Davina" Kol sniffled stroking her face which had lost it's colour, Davina coughed as blood spilled out of her mouth "no, no" Kol muttered biting into his wrist and putting it to her mouth but she didn't drink any of it as she lay limp in his arms. "No. Davina wake up" Kol cried rocking back and forth with her in his arms "please darling wake up" he pleaded placing his head against her chest to listen for her heartbeat but his heart shattered even more when he heard no sound. Kol held her even closer as he let out a loud cry "No! No! No!" he yelled crying into the crook of her neck. His cries were so loud they could be heard from outside the house and somehow his cries reached the ears of his siblings and the last cry they heard shook them to the core "DAVINA!" Kol cried and he felt the ground shake beneath him but he made no effort to move. He just sat there in the hallway of his home cradling his dead girlfriend in his arms as his daughter slept soundly in her room completely oblivious to everything that just went on and had no clue that her mother had just been killed.

Oh no...
