I Apologise about the wait I've been busy with college and other stories but I hope this chapter makes up for it.

1 week later

Davina's pov

I pace back and forth in mine and Kol's room anxiously while protectively holding Neveah in my arms as I wait for Kol to return with his brothers. Him, Elijah and Klaus left three hours ago to search for Alaric and trap him until we find out how to break the spell Esther placed on him to make him unkillable. Meanwhile Bonnie is trying to reach out to the spirits for help to block Esther from doing magic I don't even understand how she's still able to bother us when she's dead.

I turn my head to the door when I hear it open and I see Caroline standing there "hey" she says entering the room "hi" I reply "you're worried" she says "I have a reason to be worried the woman who tried to kill me and my daughter is causing havoc even though she's dead and there's Alaric who is out to kill us all because of Esther and Kol's not back yet" I say placing Neveah in her crib as she's fast asleep. "Esther will be dealt with Bonnie's seeing to it right now and Kol will be back soon so don't worry" she says "this is too much Caroline" I say sitting on mine and Kol's bed running a hand through my hair out of frustration as warm tears start rolling down my face. "Neveah is nearly two months old and so much has happened she doesn't need this in her life" I say looking at Caroline as she sits next to me "I know and I promise it will soon be over" she says rubbing my back "I hope so" I say releasing a sigh as I close my eyes.

Meanwhile with Bonnie

Bonnie's pov

I'm talking to the spirits to get their help to stop Esther she shouldn't be able to do magic or anything since she's dead it's against the rules and she should know that but she really wants her children and all vampires dead not that I care much about them except Caroline as she's my best friend and she's good she doesn't deserve to die. I also care about what happens to Davina and her daughter Davina is my friend and I've let her down a few times but I won't this time she's a good person she's never harmed anyone and neither has her daughter who is entirely innocent in all this and Esther wants to kill that sweet baby girl but I won't let that happen.

"please I know you can hear me please help me Esther is breaking the rules she's dead she shouldn't be able to do magic I know you might think what she's doing is good because you hate vampires I hate them too well some of them but what she's doing is wrong she intends to kill an innocent baby and her mother they don't deserve this if you don't do anything and Esther succeeds in killing that baby you will also be held responsible for the death of an infant please stop her break the spell she put on Alaric my friend who she's using for her own gain" I say I sigh in disappointment when nothing happens they're really not gonna help "I thought witches were supposed to be good and fight for those who can't defend themselves well I guess I was wrong and it makes me ashamed to be a witch" I say just then the candles blow out then turn back on and I see my grandmother Sheila standing in front of me. "grandma" I say she smiles "hey Bonnie don't be so quick to judge the spirits will stop Esther while we don't like vampires we dislike Esther Mikaelson even more she's nothing but an embarrassment and a disgrace to witches so I can assure you she won't succeed and she will be punished" she says "good thank you" I say she nods "now go me and the spirits will deal with Esther and we will see what we can do about Alaric" she says "okay it was good seeing you I miss you" I say tearing up she smiles "I miss you too dear now off you go" she says and vanishes leaving me alone once more.

With Kol 

Kol's pov

"still no sign of him?" I ask Nik over of the phone we separated to search for Alaric which I don't think is a good idea since he could very easily kill us if we're by ourselves but unfortunately my brothers didn't listen to me as always. "No but I have his scent I think I'm close" Nik says "be careful try not to approach him if you find him wait until me and Kol get there" Elijah says on his line "I know what to do" Nik replies before hanging up "this isn't going to end well Elijah he's going to screw up" I say "I trust he won't do anything stupid but just to be sure we better to get where he is now" he says "I'm already on my way" I say "Kol why don't you go back to Davina and Neveah?" Elijah suddenly suggests "why? I'm helping you and Nik find Alaric" I say frowning why does he want me to head back. "I know it's just maybe one of us should go back to check on them and see if they're okay" he says "Davina's a tough girl her and Neveah will be fine besides I think Caroline's with her" I say "okay well I'll see you shortly" he says before hanging up.

As me and Elijah arrive where Nik is we find him pacing around while talking on the phone "Nik we're here where's Alaric?" I ask he looks up at me with an expression on his face that I can't seem to read.
"He's not here but we need to get back home now something happened" he says hanging up the phone "what happened is everything okay?" Elijah asks concerned "Caroline called me Alaric broke into the house he went after Davina and Neveah" he says my heart drops and I clench my fists. "What? Are they okay?" I ask anxiously "I'm sorry Kol but Alaric took Davina she hid Neveah with Caroline so he didn't get her but he got Davina" he says my heart feels heavy in my chest and I feel everything spin around me "no no this can't be happening" I mutter "I'm sorry Kol" Nik says just as everything goes black.

Uh oh Alaric has Davina. Poor Kol will he find her and rescue her or will he be too late? Will the spirits stop Esther and Alaric? what will happen next? stay tuned to find out
