7 weeks later

Davina's pov

I huff as I struggle to get up off the chair I'd been sitting on, I'm 30 weeks pregnant and my bump is huge I can't even see my own feet and my back is killing me "need a hand?" I look up to see Klaus stood there smirking "don't you smirk at me and no I'm fine" I say huffing again when I fall back on the seat, he chuckles and walks over to me "what are you doing?" I ask "helping you obviously" he says gently grabbing my arm and pulling me up "thanks I could've done it myself" I say embarrassed "sure if you need any help don't hesitate to ask we're family" he says "only because of my baby" I say rubbing my bump "you're not family just because of the baby you carry you're family because we're all quite fond of you and we care for you" he says "oh thanks" I say "look I know things have been hard for you lately with Damon shutting you out after what happened at the baby shower and Elena giving you a hard time because of your relationship with my brother and your pregnancy but just know you'll be fine you have a lot of people who love and care for you" he says "I know but thanks it was nice to hear that" I say he nods and walks away leaving me alone, I'm hungry I need food and baby needs food "come on baby let's get some food" I say rubbing my bump as I feel my baby kick making me smile.

I head to the kitchen and make chicken and tomato pasta with a bit of salad as I'm plating out my food I feel arms wrap around my waist from behind "how did I know you'd be here" Kol whispers in my ear "you just know me so well" I reply snuggling against him he kisses the side of my cheek "well I know your pregnancy hormones well" he says pulling away from me and moving to stand next to me "that you do" I say as I place the dirty dishes in the sink I'll clean them later. I take my plate of pasta and walk over to the table putting it down and pulling out the chair "what do you want to drink?" Kol asks as he sips from a blood bag he decided since I'm pregnant he's not going to feed from people he's only going to feed from blood bags "juice" I say as I put a piece of chicken in my mouth "juice is coming right up" he says I hear him rummage through the kitchen as I eat my pasta. A few seconds later he places down a glass of mango juice in front of me "juice for my girl" he says kissing my cheek before sitting down across from me "thank you" I say picking up the glass and taking a sip "why is it you like mango juice? I'm not fond of the taste" Kol says "I don't like mango juice but the baby does" I say pointing to my stomach making him chuckle "how is our little miracle?" He asks "he or she is fine won't stop kicking though" I say "how does it feel when the baby kicks? Does it hurt or does it tickle?" He asks "you haven't felt the baby yet?" I ask "well I'm always rubbing your stomach when you're asleep but I never feel the baby kick" he says "come here" I say he stands up and walks over to me "give me your hand" I say "is this gonna be another way of you telling me you're horny?" He asks I swat his arm playfully and giggle "no just sit down and give me your hand" I say he chuckles and sits down giving me his hand, I take it and place it on my bump "wait" I say we sit in silence for a minute when there's a sudden force pressed against my belly making me smile "was that the baby kicking?" Kol asks with a huge grin on his face "yes it was" I say just as the baby kicks again "that's amazing I could actually just about feel the shape of a foot" he says rubbing my stomach "the baby is very active today" I say he chuckles "yeah I can tell" he says as the baby kicks again "you are amazing" he says getting off his chair and leaning down to kiss my bump the baby kicks in response "I know I'm amazing too" he says I giggle and swat his head gently "your mommy just hit me naughty mommy" Kol says playfully "oh shush let me finish my food" I say with a smile "alright I'm gonna let your mommy finish her food now I love you" he says kissing my bump again before standing up "baby loves you too" I say as the baby kicks again Kol smiles "I love him or her more" he says I pick up the glass and drink more of the mango juice "could you do me a little favour?" I ask putting some pasta in my mouth "sure" he says "my dad is going to pick up this rocking chair for me and I was wondering if you'd go with him? I know things haven't great but since his fall out with my uncle and Elena he's been more involved with me and he seems to be willing to get along with you for my sake so what do you say?" I ask after swallowing the food "sure I'll go when is he going?" He asks "in a few hours he said he'll stop by and pick you up" I say "alright great" he says "Kol" Elijah says entering in the kitchen "what's up Elijah?" He asks "have you seen the newspaper I had it delivered but I haven't received it" he says "oh yeah I think Nik has it" Kol replies Elijah nods and goes to turn away "I wouldn't go to see him right now as he's busy with Caroline" Kol says "I see thanks for the heads up" Elijah replies walking out the kitchen "when did Caroline get here?" I ask "she got here early this morning and she jumped my brother's bones" he says "eww I didn't want to know that" I say he chuckles "sorry love but yeah she and my brother are getting it on upstairs" he says "good for them I'm happy for them they seem great together" I say honestly I know Caroline has a thing for Klaus despite the horrible things he did to one of her best friends but she didn't care much about that as she got to know him she told me the other day that he's an alright guy once you really get to know him so I'm happy things are going great for her.

Aww cute Kolvina moment, another friendly moment between Davina and Klaus, Caroline and Klaus are together things are looking great at the moment. Stay tuned for more
