Two months later

Davina's pov

It's been two months since I discovered Caroline was raped by Tyler and she stayed with me and Kol for three days before calling up Klaus and telling him she's sorry and that she made a mistake by breaking up with him. They got back together on that same day but Caroline didn't tell Klaus what Tyler did to her as she wants to tell him face to face instead of over the phone.

As I'm putting away some clean clothes I hear my phone go off so I pick it up to see it's Rebekah Skype calling me. I click accept and she pops up on the screen a second later "hey Rebekah" I say "hi Davina how's everything over there?" She asks "good there's been no drama what's so ever" I say well execpt from what happened to Caroline, that's the only bad thing that's happened. "Good where's my annoying brother?" She asks "he's downstairs with Neveah" I say "ohh how is my little niece?" She asks "she's amazing she's growing more and more each day" I say smiling. "Aww I miss her I can't wait to see her again when we come back" she says "do you know when you're coming back yet?" I ask "yes Nik says we should be coming back within the next few weeks" she says "that's great I'll let Kol know" I say "I bet he's not going to be happy" she says I frown "why do you say that?" I ask "because I'm sure you and Kol have been having a lot of fun together while we've been gone" she says with a knowing smirk. "Well I'm sure he'll be happy to see you anyway I have to go now Neveah needs feeding in a minute" I say she nods "very well go see to your mommy duty's I'll speak to you later" she says "alright bye Rebekah" I say waving before ending the call.

I head downstairs and enter the living room and find Kol sat on the floor playing with Neveah who's sat up all on her own, my baby can now fully sit up I'm so proud. "hey" I say gaining their attention "hey love" Kol says "ah!" Neveah squeals holding her arms out to me which brings a smile to my face "hey baby girl" I coo walking over and picking her up. "Are you having fun playing with daddy?" I coo stroking her hair she smiles "she sure is" Kol says getting up from the floor "we were just about to play with the building blocks" he adds "aww well you can play with the blocks after feeding time" I say kissing her forehead making her coo. "Oh I thought you should know your sister told me they should be coming back within a few weeks" I say turning to Kol "great our fun will be over" he says "no it won't we can still have fun" I say walking into the kitchen and placing Neveah in the high chair. "Yeah but not as much fun as we've been having lately" Kol replies wrapping his arms around me from behind as I open the fridge to get baby food for Neveah "well we can just move out and get our own place like we originally planned too before your siblings moved to New Orleans?" I suggest trying to hold back a moan as Kol kisses my neck. "I'll start looking at houses" he mumbles against my neck "great now let go I need to feed Neveah" I say giggling as he tightens his hold on me slightly and scatters kisses up and down my neck "okay but I'll kiss you later" he says unwrapping his arms from around me.

I heat up the baby food as Kol puts a bib on her so her clothes don't get dirty. Neveah is now on baby food and breast milk as me and Kol started weaning her a month ago. "What's for my dinner?" Kol asks moving my hair to the side as he appears behind me "blood. It's in the fridge" I say grinning as he chuckles and presses a kiss on the back of my neck "you know that's not what I'm talking about" he whispers in my ear before pulling away as the microwave dings.

Kol grabs a blood bag from the fridge as I prepare Neveah's food, it's a bit too hot for her so I wave my hand at the bowl casting a little cooling spell on it so it's cool enough for Neveah to eat. I walk over to Neveah with the bowl and seat myself on a chair in front of her high chair "okay sweetie for lunch today you're having chicken pot pie" I say scooping some on a spoon and holding it up to her mouth "open up" I say she eyes it for a moment before slowly opening her mouth allowing me to put it in her mouth and she closes her mouth around it. I remove the spoon from her mouth and see she's eaten it "good girl" I coo scooping some more on the spoon and as I go to give it her she grabs hold of it "what is it? Do you want to do it yourself?" I ask letting her take the spoon and I watch as she puts it in her mouth eating the baby food "clever girl" I coo clapping my hands she grins at me bouncing in her high chair making me laugh. I watch as she feeds her self occasionally spilling some on the high chair and getting some around her face but she's doing really well "you're such a clever girl" I praise smiling "just like her mother" I hear Kol say behind me I turn to see him stood in the doorway "you have a little blood on your lip" I say pointing to my own lips he wipes away the blood from his lip "gone?" He asks I nod "yes" I say turning back to Neveah. "Is she really eating on her own?" Kol asks watching as she scoops some of the food and places it in her mouth "yeah she is" I say proudly Kol walks over and bends down slightly so he's at her level "well aren't you a big girl" he coos she smiles at him before flicking her spoon at him making food splat on his face "Neveah" I say in a gentle but firm voice yet trying not to laugh. "I love you too sweetie" Kol says wiping his face "sweetheart you don't throw food at people" I say looking at Neveah handing Kol a wet wipes to clean himself with "unless it's your uncle Nik or your aunt Rebekah" Kol says as he wipes his face and hands "Kol" I scold but he just grins and shrugs his shoulders.

Once Neveah has finished her food I gently wipe her face and hands before picking her up and Kol takes the bowl and spoon and starts cleaning the high chair. "I'm going to bath her then put her down for a nap" I say to Kol who's beginning to do the dishes "alright love call me up if you need a hand" he says "I will" I say turning on my heal and exiting the kitchen.

10 minutes later

As I'm bathing Neveah who is happily slashing the water and playing with her toys rubber ducky, I hear a quack come from outside the bathroom so I open the door with a wave of my hand. I look at the door as Billy comes waddling in "hey Billy come to play have we?" I say as the now not so little duck waddles towards me. He quacks at me as he gets near me "I'm bathing my daughter you can wait for a swim" I say eyeing him as he gets to the bath tub and tries to hop on to it. He continues to quack which gains Neveah's attention who looks around for the cause of sound. I pick Billy up and show him to Neveah "it's just Billy remember the duck we found and nursed back to health" I say she coos at me slashing the water "I think he wants to play in the water but he has to wait" I say stroking his head before moving towards the door and placing him down. I shut the door and grab a towel as I head back to Neveah, I pick her up and quickly wrap the towel around her so she doesn't get cold.

I dry Neveah and put her in some fresh clean clothes "it's a time for a nap" I say picking her up balancing her on my hip ask head towards her bedroom. She's now sleeping in her own room now at first Kol protested but I assured Kol she'd be fine and that I'd ensure she'd be safe by casting a few protection spells on her and the room including one spell that only allows blood relatives to enter execpt from Finn I made sure to add a spell that would prevent him from entering if he ever is undaggered and attempts to come after our daughter. I place Neveah in her crib and she starts fussing a little "hey it's okay baby" I coo rubbing her hand as she grabs mine "I'm only going to be downstairs I promise" I say she calms down a bit at my words.

I gently rock the crib and hum to her watching as she gets sleepy and a yawn escapes her lips. I watch as her eye lids keep fluttering shut before opening again I chuckle softly at her determination to stay awake, she's so stubborn a trait she inherited from both me and Kol.

No one's pov

Outside the Mikaelson mansion stood a woman, she had short dirty blonde/brown hair, grey/blue eyes that held such coldness and not much emotion, her lips were formed in a scowl causing her to have a cold expression on her face. This woman had no heart she was cold and cruel and she was going to prove just how cruel she was. This woman was Elizabeth Claire the mother of Marnie and Joanne Claire, grandmother of Davina Claire and great-grandmother of Neveah Mikaelson, she had been killed by Stefan Salvatore months ago after it had been discovered she sent a coven of witches after Davina and wanted to sacrifice her. Elizabeth was resurrected by Esther Mikaelson just before the spirit's had stripped Esther of her powers and stopped her from having access to the living, Elizabeth made a promise to make her daughter pay for running away all those years ago and not doing her part in the harvest and she wanted revenge for her death she was going to make Marnie and Stefan pay by taking away what meant most to them their daughter, her own granddaughter but she knew she couldn't yet she had to wait.
