Crash and Labour pains

This chapter takes place 3 weeks after the previous so Davina is now 35 weeks pregnant

Kol's pov

I watch Davina get dressed for her day out with Rebekah and Caroline much to my dismay as I would much prefer if she stayed home with me than go out with the girls but I understand that she needs her girl time especially since there's not long til she gives birth to our baby, she only has a few more weeks to go. I chuckle as Davina struggles to zip up her dress but fails because of her big baby bump which I find very cute "don't laugh at me" she pouts "sorry love you're just adorable" I say walking over to her and gently moving her hands so I can zip up her dress "can't wait til I'm petite again" she says rubbing her bump I wrap my arms around her waist placing my hands over hers "I like you like this" I say "so you'd want me to be fat all the time?" She asks "you're not fat you're pregnant and if it was up to me you'd be pregnant all the time because you are one sexy woman with this baby bump" I say "is this you hinting you're going try to get me pregnant more than once?" She questions I smirk at her words "maybe we'll just have to wait and see" I say turning her around so she's facing me "you're a cheeky one" she says leaning up on her tippy toes to kiss me "too right I am" I say "alright I best be going before I piss off your sister and Caroline for delaying our girly day out" she says "okay have fun and call me if anything happens" I say "I will don't you worry" she says giving me another kiss before heading out the room with her bag to meet Rebekah and Caroline, now what can I do while Davina's out?

Davina's pov

Me, Rebekah and Caroline have just been to the spa for hand and foot massages which was really relaxing and helped out a lot as my feet are swollen and sore due to my pregnancy, I honestly can't wait for the pregnancy to be over so I don't have to deal with anymore swollen body parts or hormones and I won't wake up with back ache but I am a little scared about giving birth, I've read all the books on giving birth and I've watched birthing videos which Caroline made me watch which made me sick and nervous, I'm just scared something may go wrong while I give birth.

"So where to now girls?" Rebekah asks "I could do with some food right now" I say rubbing my bump "fine but you're getting a salad" she says "I don't want salad" I say frowning "it's good for you and the baby" she says "can't I get some fries with my salad?" I ask "no you shouldn't eat greasy food while you're pregnant" she says "oh boo hoo it's just fries it won't hurt me or the baby I'll still have a salad" I whine I know I sound childish but it's these pregnancy hormones I swear "fine but you're only having a small portion" she says "fare enough" I say happy that I'm getting my fries, we head to the food court Rebekah goes to order my salad and fries along with a bottle of water while me and Caroline find a table, I huff as I sit down "I'm exhausted" I say leaning my head back "you look exhausted but don't worry you can have a nap when you get back" Caroline says "can't wait for it" I say "so is the baby crowning​ yet?" Caroline asks I look at her weirdly "what?" I ask "is your baby facing down?" She asks "I'm not sure I'd be able to tell if the baby kicked but it hasn't been kicking much today" I say "why is the baby okay?" She asks looking concerned "yes the doctor said that's normal when you get closer to the end of the pregnancy" I say "you still have a few weeks to go" she says "I know the doctor said not to worry besides I know the baby's okay because Kol listens to the baby's heartbeat all the time" I say "that's good is Kol excited about becoming a father?" She asks "he's a little nervous but he's very excited about becoming a father I swear all he does while I sleep is stroke and talk to my bump it's pretty sweet actually" I say "what about you? Are you excited about becoming a mother?" She asks "I admitt I'm very nervous but I'm also really excited I can't wait to meet him or her" I say rubbing my bump "I can't wait to meet your baby she or he will be the most spoilt and loved baby ever" she says "I know" I say with a happy smile on my face.

Rebekah arrives with my food and water a few minutes later with a huff, I immediately start eating my fries "I swear waiting in that queue nearly killed me" she complained sitting down "you're an original vampires and waiting in a queue nearly killed you" Caroline says smirking Rebekah glared at her "shut it Care those people were literally huddling each other I swear I could feel my lungs almost pop" she retorted "bloody hell Davina where'd all those fries go?" Rebekah asks as I eat the last of my fries "I ate them" I say with my mouth full "don't eat with a full mouth you'll have heartburn" Caroline scolds me "sorry" I say as I swallow the food in my mouth.

We leave the mall after I ate my salad and had just got in Rebekah's car, she pulled put and drove away from the mall. It was quiet as Rebekah drove all that could be heard was the radio playing on low volume and me humming along to the song, I felt my baby sick as I hummed "hey baby" I say rubbing my bump earning a kick in response "I guess baby likes it when mommy sings" Rebekah says with a smile "baby does" I say just then I feel a slight pain in my side but I pass it off as a cramp, the pain appears again but I don't let it show as I don't want to worry Rebekah and Caroline but that's thrown out the window when a really bad sharp pain shoots through my abdomen "ahhh!" I groan in pain "Davina what's wrong?" Rebekah asks "is it the baby?" Caroline asks "I think so" I groan as another pain shoots through me "here's some water maybe that will help" Caroline says handing me a bottle from the back I quickly take off the lid and slowly sip the water, "do you feel better?" Rebekah asks "yes much better thanks" I say as there's no pain but I soon regret it a few minutes later when the pain comes back "ahh it's back" I groan clutching my stomach just as we stop at a red light "are these pains coming and going but getting stronger than the last?" Caroline asks "yes why?" I ask groaning "Davina I don't know how to say this but I think you're having contractions" she says "what?! I can't be going into labour now it's too early" I say "take deep breaths Davina don't overwhelm yourself" Rebekah says I take a few deep breaths which seem to help but the pain is still there "let's just hope your water doesn't break" Rebekah says me and Caroline glare at her "really Rebekah that's not helping" I say groaning "sorry" she says before looking at the traffic lights which are still red "come on stupid light" she mutters tapping her nails against the wheel I hear car tires screeching from and Caroline turns to see a car speeding towards us "Rebekah drive now!" She yells obviously not caring about the red light Rebekah drives forward luckily not crashing into any cars but as she drives we see the other car is still speeding towards us "what the hell does that person want?" I groan as another pain shoots through me "it's okay baby" I coo rubbing my stomach as I feel a slight kick from my baby "I don't know and I don't think we want to find out" Caroline says watching as the car continues to speed towards us, Rebekah speeds up faster in an attempt to get away from the car but just as she does that another car comes hurdling out of nowhere and crashes violently into us making the car flip over, skid down the road and fall into the woods landing right on an edge, I don't hear anything as I lay there my vision grew blurry, I felt pain all over my body and I felt something warm drip down my face "my baby" I mumble weakly my hand lay weakly on my stomach as everything goes black.

Uh oh who do you think was driving those two cars? Is Davina and the baby okay? Will Rebekah and Caroline manage to get out the car and get Davina to the hospital? How will they tell Kol? How will he react? Stay tuned for more
