Caroline storms down the stairs passing Elena who calls after her but the blonde vampire just ignores her friend too consumed with anger, disappointment and guilt from what they all had done today, they tried to tear Davina away from the man she loved, tried to ruin a relationship because of their own selfish reasons but the thing is Caroline didn't agree to it because he was the brother of their enemy or the fact they disliked that family, she only agreed out of concern for her friend but now that she's heard things and seen Kol and Davina together in a moment of love and comfort she knows she was wrong for ever siding with the others thinking it was best for the little witch but in truth it wasn't in her best interest it was really only ever in Stefan and Elena's interest, Stefan hates Klaus for everything he's done since he arrived in Mystic falls and wants Klaus and his family dead as for Elena she doesn't want any of the originals in Mystic falls she wants them to leave or die and she knows if Davina is dating one of them then they won't leave, it makes Caroline sick that her friend is really that selfish to try and ruin another person's happiness in order to gain her own goal of riding mystic falls of the originals and it makes her want to drive a stake through Stefan's heart that he would risk breaking his own daughters heart because of his hate and troubles with the originals.

Caroline Forbes has always been the faithful and honest one out of her friends, Bonnie is a nice girl with good intentions but she has her moments of hurting people without meaning too and Elena she seems nice and she's a good friend but she can be quite the brat when she wants to be, today sort of proved how bratty Elena can be. The blonde vampire soon found herself stood outside on Klaus's doorstep with a positive sigh she raises her arm but just as she's about to knock, the door opens and it just so happens the person who answered the door is none other than Klaus himself "hello love" he says with a grin "Klaus" Caroline says politely "what brings you here?" The hybrid asks leaning against the frame of the door "I'm here to see you in concern of your brother and my friend" Caroline says Klaus stands up straight at her words "what's wrong with my brother?" He asks "if you could let me enter then I'd be more than pleased to share the details with you" the blonde vampire says with a smile Klaus chuckles "cocky and confident I like that in a woman" he says making her scoff and roll her eyes "I'm sure you do" Caroline retorts sarcastically as she enters the mansion with her head held high and determination written all over her face, this woman meant business and she would see to it that things went her way as she liked it "so my brother" Klaus starts as they enter the kitchen "I'm sure you're aware of your brother relationship with Stefan's daughter?" Caroline says "yes I am aware" the hybrid answers "what are your thoughts on their relationship?" She asks "Kol is smitten by Davina I've never seen him this way with anyone he's a lot happier he reminds me of how he used to be before we became vampires" he says "so you approve of them even though things are awkward with her dad, uncle and my doppelganger friend?" Caroline questions "I don't care about that Davina makes my brother happy he's in love and I would never do anything to jeopardize their relationship" the hybrid replies "interesting" Caroline mutters Klaus looks up at her "why are you here questioning me about my thoughts on their relationship?" He asks "because Stefan, Damon, Bonnie and Elena were earlier trying to persuade Davina to end the relationship because they thought it was best for her but I know that's not the truth they want her to end the relationship for their own selfish reasons" Caroline answers "did Davina agree to end the relationship?" Klaus asks "no she put her foot down and told them no" she replies "so what's the deal then?" He asks "I know them better than anyone to know they will try to break Kol and Davina apart" Caroline says "you're here just to tell me that?" The hybrid asks "I was on their side I thought Kol was using her but then I saw them he was comforting her the way he looked at her it was no mistake that it was love I won't stand back and let my friends destroy what Kol and Davina have just for the sake of their own selfish reasons I want to protect Davina from them and I know you will want to protect Kol" Caroline says Klaus looks at her in awe in all the many centuries he's walked the earth he has never met anyone as caring and protective than the woman stood before him "Stefan is Davina's father he's going to try and tamper with love and it will break Davina's heart I have to protect her from my friends and her own father" the blonde vampire adds "nobody should ever mess with love" Klaus states walking closer to her "so will you help me stop them from trying to tear Davina and Kol apart?" She asks "of course on one small condition" the hybrid says "what do you want?" Caroline asks slightly annoyed "I want you to be my date to the ball this Friday" he says with a smirk "fine I'll be your date" she replies "great I'll send you a dress" Klaus says "no thanks I can pick out my own dress" Caroline says "I'm sure you can love but allow me to buy you a dress I swear I won't disappoint you" he says "whatever just make sure it's not trashy or puffy I hate those kind of dresses" she says heading to the door Klaus chuckles as he follows her "your lack of trust in my taste almost offends me" the hybrid says "good" Caroline says as she steps outside "I'll pick you up" he says the blonde vampire turns around shaking her head "no I'll meet you there" she says before vamp speeding away leaving the hybrid smirking to himself, Fridays going to be very interesting he thought as he shuts the door.

Things are getting interesting between Caroline and Klaus, teaming up to protect Davina and Kol's relationship. Stay tuned for more
