Baby's first birthday

It's been a while since I updated this story but I hope this will make up for it. Just so you know there will only be a few more chapters of this story and then it's ending but don't worry there's still plenty of drama to come.

2 months later

Davina's pov

Today is Neveah's birthday, I can't believe she's 1 years old already my time has gone by fast, it feels like just yesterday I gave birth to her and held her in my arms for the first time. "Hey love" Kol says walking into the kitchen with Neveah in his arms "hi there's the birthday girl" I coo kissing Kol on the lips before tickling Neveah who giggles and squirms "mama!" She squeals burying her face in the crook of Kol's neck making him chuckle. I stop tickling her and look at Kol "Did you pick up the decorations from the store?" I ask "yes I did love they're in the living room ready to be put up" he says "good what about the cake? Have you picked it up from the baker's?" I ask he nods "not yet I'm about to go out and get it" he says I nod "okay I'm gonna get started on the cupcakes, cookies and finger sandwiches" I say turning around and pulling ingredients out of the pantry and fridge. "Alright love see you later" he says kissing my cheek before looking at Neveah "say bye to mummy baby" he coos Neveah looks at me with a smile and waves "mama" she says puckering her lips for a kiss making me laugh. I lean up and give her a kiss before turning back to my task as they head out the door.

1 hour and 45 minutes later
I've now made the cupcakes, cookies and finger sandwiches, I've plated them out on fancy paper trays since there's no use in using actual trays since it's for a child's party. I start placing the food out on the table in the living room that Kol set up shortly after he arrived back after collecting the birthday cake from the baker's, he also put up the decorations before heading upstairs to get ready

Once all the food is set up on the table I make my way upstairs to mine and Kol's room, yeah we now have our own place we moved out of his siblings mansion a few months ago shortly after his siblings got back from New Orleans. Upon entering our room I find Kol and Neveah in there, Neveah is sat up on the bed playing with a toy while Kol is slipping on a shirt "hey handsome" I say he turns to me and smiles "hey is the food done?" He asks I nod "yes I've come to get dressed and then after that I'm going to dress Neveah I have a very cute dress for her" I say as I walk over to our wardrobe which we shaI pick out re, one side is mine and one side is his, it's a pretty big wardrobe. 

I pick out a white and navy blue dress, the white part is lace with see through sleeves and the skirt part is blue, I pick out a pair of white sandal wedges to match the dress before heading into the bathroom to get changed but I leave the door open. I get undressed and put the dress and sandal wedges on.
