Episode Seven Of My Story

" Kobayashi!"

" Kobayashi!" I repeated.

" Kobayashi." Inoue shouted, banging on the steel door and trying to wake Kobayashi up.

Kobayashi's red orbs snapped open with a gasp. He sluggishly sat up, putting his hand on his throbbing head.

" Kobayashi!" I cried, worriedly.

" Get up." Inoue said strictly.

" The hell..." 

I opened the car door on my side of the seat. I rushed out.

" Inoue, go easy on him." I said defending him.

" He was the one who wanted to go Akebono amusement park."

Kobayashi gasped at he stared out the window. The big red Ferris wheel was in sight. Kobayashi got another headache. 

" What's wrong?" Inoue asked.

" Kobayashi.." I muttered in a pitiful tone.

A loud car was suddenly catching up to us. Wheels crumbling the rocks, I could hear it. I could hear it loudly too.

" Ya see? We caught up in no time, right?" The red-head waving from the window. 

" That's" Inoue began.

My eyes filled up with gratitude. " Hanasaki..." I smiled.

" You're still hanging around these guys?" Inoue asked.

" Stop being rude Inoue." I whispered-shouted.

" Who are you?" I asked the red-head. 

" I'm Hide, and you?" He smirked.

I was hesitant at first, " Mamoru Kirari."

Hanasaki rushed out of the van and ran to see how Kobayashi was doing. I guess he just couldn't stay away.

" How're you feeling?" Hanasaki asked Kobayashi.

" Yeah..."

" Just tell him, isn't it obvious." Inoue said.

" The hell... are you guys..."

" All right, all right, all right!" Hide shouted. 

He walked up, grabbed Inoue's hand, then grabbed Hanasaki's hand.

" I don't know what you're all tense about, but let's call a truce. Let's all work hand in hand here."

This guy....maybe isn't so....bad after all.

" C'mon, let's get started!" he cried, clapping Inoue's and Hanasaki's hands.

" Time to track down Kobayan's memories!"

" If you see anything familiar at all, tell us."

" What is it? Need a break?" Hanasaki asked Kobayashi.

We were now going to enter some abandoned apartments. Is this where Kobayashi lived? Surely he couldn't have live in such an unfortunate place.

" I-I'm fine." He replied.

" The amusement park in your dream..." Inoue began. " A park with an octopus slide...A train with green lines... Even if you only remember fragments at a time, the dots should connect eventually. There's your condition, too. You shouldn't overdo it."
