He set her back down on the bed and she gave him a half-hearted glare, crossing her arms over her chest.
"No more walking for you" Hiccup said in an attempt at sounding firm, though his face wasn't exactly the most intimidating.
"You're joking..." Astrid sighed.
"I'm not" Hiccup frowned. "It's obvious that you're not ready to walk again."
"And you were?" Astrid demanded, glaring at his prosthetic leg.
"I didn't injure my back and both of my legs" Hiccup shot back. "Plus, I was advised to walk so I could get used to my leg. You were advised to REST. So rest."
"Okay fine" Astrid scowled, flopping back in the bed, pressing her lips together.
"Hiccup, I'm bored"
"So what?"
"I want to do something to pass the time"
"Like what exactly?"
"Are you gonna accept?"
"Depend..."
"I want to braid the long hair in the back of your neck"
"What!"
"Please..."
"But this is ridiculous, Astrid"
"But you hair looks messy"
"No way I'm letting you do this"
"Please, i beg you"
"Oww, you're so cute when you beg"
"I was going to smash your face for saying this, but can I consider it a yes?"
"Fine, but you're gonna take it off after you're done"
"No promises"
Hiccup sat in front of an excited Astrid and he sighed
"What, I'm sure it's going to turn out beautiful"
"I'm sure it's gonna turn out stupid"
"Shhh, now hold still until I finish my work"
Astrid started braiding two little braids, then she took a string from her shirt and tied the first one and she did the same the second.
She get back a little, observing her work with pride.
"Have you finished?"
"Almost..."
she took a comb from a chest beside her bed and brought it to his hair
"...Done!"
Hiccup stood up touching the braids and sight
"Really?"
"Please don't take them off, please" and she gave him a sad look and he couldn't resist anymore
"Fine!"
"Now, I'm hungry, go brought me some food"
"Told you, you eat like a dragon"
He said running away from the pillow that made it's way toward him.
When he reached the club house, everyone gasped.
"What happe..." ruffnut asked
"Don't ask" Hiccup said
"What's about the braids, Hiccup?"tuffnut exclaimed
"You look funny" snoutlout said laughing
"Ha ha ha "Hiccup repeated in a sarcastic tone while taking the food and leaving toward Astrid's hut still hearing their lauthing.
