When Hiccup and Astrid got back to the edge, Hiccup went to catch some sleep, but Astrid didn't, she actually couldn't.
She wanted to do something to make Hiccup know that she will always be there for him.
Then, an idea popped in her head, and she went immediately to do it.
She sneaked to his workshop, took some materials and got back to her hut.
she spent most of the night and the next day making something, and it was for sure for Hiccup.
It was night by now and Hiccup was sitting at the edge of his hut staring at the moon.
"It's a nice night, isn't Hiccup?"
"Yeah, it is, and by the way, where have you been all day?"
"It's a secret"
"I can keep one"
"I'll tell you when the right time comes"
"Okay"
"Well, now close your eyes"
"Astrid..."
"Close them..."
Hiccup sighed and closed his eyes and Astrid pulled something from her pocket.
"Now open them"
Hiccup opened hi eyes to find an amazingly beautiful bracelet in front of him, it was like a little fragile chain made with Gronkle iron with a little heart in the middle carved on it

"It's not as good as you do it, I'm sure, but it's my best"
Hiccup was paralyzed, he was staring at the little heart in his hand.
Astrid watched his expression, reading his face movements but he was frozen.
"Hiccup, are yo...."
With a swiftly move, Hiccup put his hand on her mouth and kissed it. Astrid eyes widened, it wasn't a real kiss, but she was glad feeling his warm breaths close to her nose, even if it was for a few seconds, before having Hiccup running into his hut.
Astrid lifted her fingers to touch where Hiccup's hand was.
Hiccup came back with a little box and he gave it to her.
"I didn't know how to give it to you before"
Astrid opened the box to find another bracelet just like the one she had made, but it was more beautiful than hers, and in the little heart that decorate it was a Nightfury symbol and a DeadlyNadder's one, curling together into a heart had in the middle of it

He saw a crystal tear ran down her cheek.
"But when...how..."
"It was a few months ago, when we were on berk, I heard you asking a trader if he had a bracelet, and I saw your sad expression when he told that he doesn't, so I decided to make you one, but I didn't know how to give it to you, but here it is"
They just gazed into each other eyes.
Nothing was needed to be said except,
"I'll keep it forever, no matter what"
