Hiccup and Astrid

Drunk Vikings pt 2

When Astrid woke up the next morning, Hiccup was gone and his blanket was around her shoulders.
She smiled as she found a beautiful flower in her lap with a little piece of paper written in it a thank you.
She placed the flower on her ear, knowing exactly who put it there and stood up to go and find him.
She made her way carefully to not step on the sleeping vikings everywhere including Tuff and snotlout.
When she reached the door she saw toothless, stormfly and the other dragons sleeping in a huge dragons pile, she chuckled at the view and went outside to greet the rising sun.
She looked at her village and how peaceful it was.
Astrid walked through the houses until she reached the chief house and opened the door.
The house was empty like most of the houses in the village.
She wondered where Hiccup could be.
Astrid searched in the Cove, the forest, the cliff and all the places that she knew hiccup would like to go to, but there was no sign of him.
She decided to go to the docks to bring toothless and stormfly some fish, she looked at the horizon only to see Hiccup stuck on one of the stone towers ahead of her
"Oh boy, that idiot, he must have been trying to fly his flight suit, oh when I get my hands on him"
Astrid took one of the little boats and steered it toward him, she climbed the stone tower easily thanks to her skills and sneaked from behind him
"Got you"
"Astrid...hi...hey...Astrid"
"I know we've been through this before"
"What are you doing here so early?"
"I should be asking you that"
"I'm just enjoying the view, you know"
"You're a terrible liar"
"Fine, I was just trying my flight suit and let's just say it need some tweaking"
"I can't believe you"
"I know, I'm an idiot, stupid, stubborn, kind of guys, anyway, from where did you get that flower, there's no flowers on berk in that time, it looks nice on you"
Astrid knew that he was the one who put it there and she wanted to play it his way
"Thanks, someone gave it to me when I was sleeping, I wander who he was, but whoever he is, I'm going to kiss him as a thank you, I like flowers"
"Even if it was snotlout"
"Yeah"
"Lucky him, then"
"So you say that it was snotlout?"
"I didn't say that, no one knows that you like flowers except for someone who know you so well"
"So you know who he was?"
"I didn't say that either"
"Fine, but if I find out you know who he was and you didn't tell me, the kiss will turn out a hard punch on the face"
"What?!"
She jumped in the boat not giving him a chance to say anything
"Hey, are you leaving me here?!, you know I can't swim!"
"Until I find who put the flower, yes, just in case you run away"
She said that and turned to her direction.
Hiccup just sat there
"Why do I have to make the simplest thing complicated, stupid me"

In the afternoon, Astrid thought that it was time to help Hiccup get back, only to see that he wasn't there.
Toothless was with her
"Oh, I see that he ran away, Hiccup if you can hear me, and I'm sure you do, show yourself or you'll regret it when I put my hands on you, do you hear me?!"
She screamed as she started looking while Hiccup swallowed knowing that he might loose an eye or his other foot.
Meanwhile, Heather was bringing a blanket back to the chief house, that's when she saw Hiccup sneaking around the village, he was totally wet
"Hiccup, what are you doing?"
"She's not here, right?"
"Who?"
"Astrid"
"She told me that she's going to the woods to do her axe throwing exercises"
"You mean the axe that will tear my head off"
"Why?, what happened to you"
She said putting the blanket around him
"It's a long story, first I have to go home and hide before she finds me, come with me and I'll explain"
Hiccup made his way toward his house with Heather following behind him.
Once he got there, he told Heather what happened
"And then she left me and went back"
Heather burst out laughing almost falling backwards
"Why didn't you just told her you are the one who put the flower and ended the problem"
"First, she's Astrid, second, I didn't know that will turn out that way, I'm actually surprised that she did accept it, and for the record, I knew that she knew that I knew that she knew I'm the one who put the flower"
"Hey, slow down, you don't remember what you did last night, do you?"
"What happened?"
"Take this, First, you started dancing and singing a silly song from your own on the table, second you called her divine beauty, third you tell her that she reminds you of your mother..."
"What?!" Hiccup cut her off
"Wait that wasn't the worst part for you"
"Don't tell me that I kissed her, that's impossible" He said in a sarcastic tone
"Yeah you did"
"Oh, No"
His face went red
"That's not just it"
"What is it?, this might be the worst day ever"
"You made her cry"
"No this is the worst day ever, what did I do now"
"You started talking about your mother and you told her that at least she is there for you"
"Heather, please take care of toothless, tell my dad that I love him and from now one make sure that the twins and snotlout does not break anything and if Astrid asked about me tell her that I suicide and if you want anything I will be hiding under my bed for the rest of my life"
"Why are you so afraid of her?"
"Everyone is afraid of her, you don't know how scary she looks when she's angry, you better not"
And by that he ran into his bedroom.
