Chapter 28: Having fun at the Fair!

Haruhi's pov

"Do you think their date is going great?" Tamaki-senpai asked me, as we were walking. "Well, most likely. Hey, Mori-senpai, Honey-senpai." I saw the two join us, "Quick hide!" Tamaki-senpai pulled all three of us behind a stand, as we saw Kaoru and Emi. Emi was carrying a giant stuffed teddy bear, they were both laughing and smiling.

"Kaoru, do you think Tamaki-senpai will admit his feelings for Haruhi?" Emi looked up ahead of her, "Most likely, if Hikaru and I keep teasing him and stuff." Kaoru said, with a small smile. "That would be the day..Hehe, Dad would chase Tamaki-senpai around the entire town, not letting up on trying to kill him." Emi laughed, "Yeah, you're right. He almost killed Honey-senpai, when he found out Emi and him were dating." Hikaru popped up behind us, making me jump.

"Jesus, you scared me." I sighed in relief. "Look Haruhi, it's a show. I saw them go that way." I had been holding hands with Hikaru, so when Tamaki-senpai shouted that he saw them go that way he tugged on my arm. Which then caused me to pull Hikaru along, with Mori-senpai and Honey-senpai following after. We pushed our way through the crowd, with Tamaki leading us. We saw Kaoru and Emi go on stage, just as we reached the front near the stage. "What do you think they're going to be doing on stage?" Hikaru asked and I looked over at him. "I'm not sure. But I think that they might be doing something like a song." I said to him and he smiled, "This should be interesting." I jumped a little hearing, Kyoya-senpai speak from behind me. "Did I scare you Haruhi?" He asked me, as I turned around to face him. "Yeah, you did." I shook my head, "And now ladies and gentlemen please welcome to the stage Kaoru Hitachiin and Emi Fujioka!" The announcer shouted and we all turned around facing the stage. The two came out and the song started nice, "Are they making those sounds just using their mouths?" Yori came up next to us, "Yeah, they are. That's amazing." Hikaru said, "Look at how happy she looks." I smiled, as they started singing in harmony. I'm glad to see her so happy, it's been a while since I've seen that genuine smile on her face.

They're song came to a close and we all clapped but behind us, the crowd roared loudly and were cheering. Some girls recognized the Hitachiin twin on stage and were holding up posters screaming loudly and jumping up and down. "Looks like Kaoru has a fan base." Kyoya said, pushing up his glasses. "Yeah but look, there's also one for Emi." Hikaru pointed to our left and I followed that line of vision. I spotted a huge group of both girls and boys, holding up posters that read 'I love you Emi Fujioka!' I shook my head as they were screaming and yelling. "They really out did themselves." Anna said, with a slight chuckle.

"Yeah, they did. And they seemed to be having a lot of fun. Say was this set up?" Yori turned his head to me, "Uhhh... What are you talking about?" I said nervously, "Oh I get it. You set it up because Emi and Kaoru have been having issues and you wanted them to get along, didn't you?" He smiled, he completely got that wrong.

"Uhhhh, yeah." Tamaki-senpai shook his head and turned around, as if he was looking at something. "Come on! They went towards the other stands!!" Tamaki-senpai pulled on my arm and I grabbed onto Hikaru, he was pulled along with me. "Tamaki-senpai, slow down!" I yelled, as the others followed after us. "I can't slow down, I need to know how this date goes with Kaoru!!" He said and could hear Anna and Yori laughing at Tamaki-senpai and his priceless reactions.

"Found them yet?" I turned my head to Kyoya-senpai, "No, I can't see them anywhere. What if my dear precious daughter us out doing something bad with that idiot?!!!" Tamaki-senpai panicked and let me go, which made me fall to the floor. "Tamaki-senpai, calm down." I said, as Hikaru helped me off the ground. "Look, Emi is not that kind of person. So just calm down Tamaki-senpai." Anna chuckled at Tamaki-senpai's odd behavior. I wanted to laugh at him for his weird reactions, he such a weirdo.

"I found them!!" He tugged on my arm and started dragging me away, with the others trying to follow after him. "Tamaki-senpai, please let me go!!" I shouted ,but he just kept dragging me and I sighed. "Kaoru!!!! We should go on the ferris wheel!!!" I saw Emi tug on his hand with excitement, which made him laugh.

"Would you look at that? She's probably gonna regret going on there but if she has somebody she knows on there with her she should be just fine." I watched, as they walked to the ferris wheel and got on. "Come on, let's go on the ferris wheel!" Tamaki-senpai pulled everyone to it and we all got on in the car, after Emi and Kaoru. Only we had to split up, so in the car after Emi and kaoru was Tamaki and me. In the car after us, was Hikaru and Kyoya-senpai. In the car after him, was Mori-senpai and Honey-senpai. In the last car, was Yori and Anna. I sighed, as we were strapped in and finally we lifted off the ground. I could hear Emi laughing while Kaoru was telling jokes, but I couldn't hear exactly what they were talking about. "Ahhhhhh!!!" Tamaki-senpai freaked after several minutes and shook the car, which made me panic.

"Tamaki-senpai, calm down!!! Stop rocking the car!! They said not to do that!" I yelled at him, but he just continued to freak out. "I can't tell hear what he's saying to her!" He shouted, I huffed trying to ignore him.

"What if he's telling her something dirty?!!! What if he is trying to do something bad to her?!! Ahhhhhh. I can't take this anymore!!" I got so fed up with him, that I rolled up the newspaper and whacked him on the head. "Shut up, Tamaki-senpai!!" Hikaru shouted from the bottom car. "Don't tell me to shut up!! What if he's doing something bad to her?!!" Tamaki shouted, pointing up at their car. Something then flew up from the bottom car that Hikaru was in, and hit Tamaki-senpai in the face. It knocked him back and he passed out, causing me to shake my head and stare at Hikaru like he was crazy. "Next time don't accuse my twin of doing something horrible to Emi, he is not the type to do that!!" Hikaru shouted and from below I could hear Kyoya-senpai trying to calm him down, I sighed and slumped back in my seat. "Why does this always happen?" I groaned.
